Motivation[edit]

Lead the Deliberative's warstrider forces to victory over the deathlords.

Intimacies[edit]

Anima[edit]

A Chosen of Battles reflexively makes the Lesser Sign of Mars for 10 motes. The Chosen’s anima billows outward in a brilliant scarlet that engulfs all those affected. For one scene, the Sidereal and all his allies within (his Essence x 10) yards reduce the damage they suffer from all attacks by one level in Step 10 of attack resolution, after damage is rolled; this effect takes place after other such effects (as from starmetal armor) and does not reduce damage below one health level. Allies enjoy this advantage only as long as they remain within range. With the Sidereal’s anima banner in the 11 to 15 mote range, this costs only five motes. If the banner is fully manifest (16+), this costs only one.

Connections 4 (Denandsor Council)[edit]

Manse 2 (Battle Fire Ruby)[edit]

This hearthstone is a fi ne ruby with 10 identical, kiteshaped facets. This stone continually fills the bearer with aggression and certainty. When rolling the character’s Conviction or Valor, add two dice to the roll. Likewise, when rolling Compassion or Temperance, subtract two dice from the roll (to a minimum of one die).

This manse is called The Coal Fields.

Manse 4 (Willstone of the Strategos)[edit]

This bright-red, spindle-shaped hearthstone has a dark-purple center. This stone provides the commander of any battle with profound insights into the likely course of events and how he can use his troops to best effect. When in mass combat, the player can roll the character’s (Wits + War) as a Speed 3, -0 DV action: Every two successes scored (round up) adds 1 to her unit’s Valor, and every four successes (round up) adds 1 to all of the unit’s other dice pools involving mass combat. If this stone raises the combat unit’s Valor above 5, the soldiers become temporarily immune to fear and will not fail any Valor checks until their Valor falls to 5 or lower.

The commander must be able to communicate with her troops to grant them these benefits. Also, all bonuses are reduced by one every 6 mass combat ticks. Bonuses gained from successive rolls do not stack, but higher rolls can supplant earlier rolls at the bearer’s option. Charms (including Excellencies) cannot be used to improve the (Wits + War) pool, but the character can channel Virtues to do so—Valor is always appropriate, and Conviction normally is.

This manse is called The Shogunate War Museum.

Manse 4 (Stone of Feral Beauty)[edit]

This rough cut white opal shines with an inner light and adds three dots to wearer's appearance, up to a maximum of 7. In addition nothing of the natural world can make the character look less beautiful. Coated in mud, blood, faeces or any such representation of the natural world will in fact make the character gain an additional point to appearence from the stone. Anything not of the natural world may reduce the characters appearance but that is left up to Storyteller discresion.

This manse is called The House of Sextes Jylis.

History[edit]

Personality[edit]

  • The Crimson Meteor is a fiercely driven and courageous young woman, given to theatrics and bursts of enthusiasm verging on recklessness. Although willing to sacrifice lives under her command, she does not do so lightly, and values the camaraderie she has built up with her subordinates. She is proud almost to the point of arrogance of the accomplishments of her pilots and especially of her personal squadron, considering them the best of the best (and herself the best of them).
  • In private moments when she can remove her Resplendent Destiny, Siran Bhavna reveals herself to share the personality traits of her public persona, although to a somewhat less extreme degree. For example, when sharing the credit with her squadron, the Crimson Meteor might say, "I couldn't have done it without them watching my back"; Siran Bhavna would be more likely to say, "We're the best of the best, each and every one of us. It wouldn't have mattered who was taking the shot, the rest of us would have been right behind him."

Merits & Flaws[edit]

Legendary Dexterity (3pts)[edit]

Crimson Meteor's Dexterity cap is (permanent Essence) + 1.

Past Life (5pts)[edit]

Crimson Meteor remembers much from her last Exaltation, including the Charms of High-Flying Daredevil Style.

Diminished Taste (-1pt)[edit]

The character has no sense of taste and automatically fails all Perception rolls to identify a substance by taste.

Minor Oath (-1pt, Backing)[edit]

The character has sworn an oath to serve the Denandsor Council.

Code of Honor (-2pts)[edit]

This character is incapable of lying to or betraying anyone whom s/he considers to be an ally unless her player first fails a Conviction roll.

Vice (thrill-seeking, -3pts)[edit]

This character is addicted to thrill-seeking. When the character encounters an opportunity for thrill-seeking, the character’s player must successfully roll Temperance against a difficulty of 3 lest the character surrender to the chosen vice. The player may spend one Willpower to have the character ignore the effects of a failed Temperance roll for a scene.

Vice (gambling, -3pts)[edit]

This character is addicted to gambling. When the character encounters an opportunity for games of chance, the character’s player must successfully roll Temperance against a difficulty of 3 lest the character surrender to the chosen vice. The player may spend one Willpower to have the character ignore the effects of a failed Temperance roll for a scene.
