Longo was born to an elven maiden who, after she had lost her human lover to unknown circumstances, retreated back to elven lands. She remarried and carried on with her elven life, but what she didn't know was that her former human lover had blessed her with a piece of himself. She was pregnant with the a human child, she told her elven husband of the human and that she was impregnated by him. He was unhappy but agreed to raise the child as his own, which was exactly the plan.

Time carried on and the elven maiden gave birth to a half-human half-elven child. She gave him an elven name to try to avoid suspicion and keep up appearances. But as the young half-breed grew he got wise to the fact that his ear's weren't as sharp (literally or figuratively) as everyone else's and he didn't exactly see everything the way the other full elves did. He went to speak with his mother.

After a long night full of human emotion and elven pride his mother told him everything. Most of all, she told him about his father, his name was Longo. That was all he needed (or wanted) to hear. After all was said and done he left the elves and his mother behind, years of lies still fresh in his ears.

He ran for days through the wilderness, just running. From his home? From his mother? From the truth? His entire world had toppled down on top of him, and he could feel its weight, he was near his breaking point ...

The moon was full that night and full of stars, when he looked up. I can see you ... He thought You are real ... and that was his last thought before his mind drifted into unconsciousness. He awoke the next morning to greet the most beautiful sunrise he had ever seen. I know you're real, I know you exist ... I can see you, I can feel your warmth ... I can count on you to always rise, every morning, without question ... without doubt. It was that moment that he accepted the truth, and dedicated himself to studying and learning everything he wanted to know about the sun, the moon and its followers, the stars. And to honor his true father, he has named himself Longo.

He lived a solitary life for many years studying and gathering knowledge, taking in everything he could. Always searching for the answer to a question he does not yet know.
