Beyond the Tomb of Five Corners - Session 17[edit]

Kuros: On the last game, the PCs had just vanquished the guardian of the lake, and are now standing at the shore. It is somewhere around 2am, and your animas are casting quite a glow. Astrid flaps in in her raven form, back from scouting something really important.

Astrid: "Huh?!? HUH!?!?" Astrid said, looking surprised as she settled back down. "What happened! Are you all okay? Agh! How did I wind up being away when you guys were in trouble!" She seemed a bit distressed

Alyssa: "We found the guardian of the lake," Alyssa says drily. "Or perhaps the reverse."

Silk: In his darkly coloured cloak Silk is barely visible among the shining forms of his fellows Chosen. "It is not here anymore," he dryly adds to Alyssa's words.

Thelaos remains barely conscious and on the ground

Alyssa: "Thelaos is fairly badly battered and I have a colossal headache. Is anyone else injured?"

SonoftheMetalFlame shakes his head. "I seem to have made it through that relatively unscathed."

Silk shakes his head. "Its strikes were as ineffectual against me as mine were against it."

Astrid: "Hwa??!? Didn't I 'SAY' it looked suspicious down there? Why'd you all run in while I was looking around! I'm really good at taking on spirits and ghosts and monsters and stuff!"

SonoftheMetalFlame cracks a smile. "Well, next time we'll be sure to wait before approaching mysterious lakes. For now, we need to figure out how to help Thelaos."

Silk: "As it seems the next time we experiment with a haunted lake will be as soon as Thelaos has recovered ."

Thelaos: "I should recover.. it may take some time.."

Alyssa: "And you're not likely to recover as fast out here as you would be somewhere with better protection from the elements. Even I can tell you're going to be laid up for a while."

Thelaos nods as much as the aches allow, "and for now.. I think we should get away from this place. There may be more in that lake than one old woman."

Silk: "Yes, let us return to our camp outside the dead zone. There we can await the morning and then decide how to continue."

SonoftheMetalFlame nods. "Let's."

Astrid still looked very upset at all the going's on, but nodded. "Yeah, it's for the best really, you're really, REALLY beat up! It'd be terrible if we got in another fight so soon!"

Alyssa eyes Thelaos. "Do you need to be carried?" she asks bluntly.

Thelaos rolls over and stands up, "No. We'll have to move slowly, though."

Alyssa shrugs and starts walking towards camp.

Silk waits to see if Thelaos needs help, then (assuming that he doesn't) fade into the night, keeping a secure perimeter around the slowly moving group

Kuros: THe camp is where you left it, fortunately.

SonoftheMetalFlame stands at the lake for a moment, looking out over the water pensively. He looks down at the pyramid coin that is now in his hand. With a sigh, he pockets it, and follows after the others.

Silk: (fast-forward to sunrise)

Kuros: (You guys want to do anything today?)

Silk: (Silk will want to fly another circuit or two around the laker in an outward spiral looking for the Circle's competitors)

Thelaos: (I'll.. uh.. guard the camp ;)

Alyssa will go back to the lakeshore during the day and see if anything looks different.

Astrid: ((Alright, I'll stick around then, when the Dawn Caste's beaten to hell, pushing forward too much can be a bad idea))

Alyssa: "Nothing seems different under sunlight," Alyssa notes once she's back from the shore. "I suppose it might be different at night."

SonoftheMetalFlame: "Perhaps. The demon may have been the only thing "unusual," though. The area being devoid of life is consistent with a demon of that power being at that location."

Astrid: "I still think there's probably something under the lake"

Silk: "That seems likely. That god said something about the city being there."

SonoftheMetalFlame: "I would find that likely."

Silk: "The question then becomes, how do we get down there? I can only hold my breath so long ..."

Alyssa: "Are you volunteering to go swimming, Astrid?" Alyssa asks.

Alyssa: "I don't know if you can - well, do whatever Lunars do, to become a fish?"

Astrid: "I can try probably... as for the rest... Yeah, I could fly over to a nearby river and have lunch I guess"

Astrid: "Then come back here"

Silk nods. "You'll get deeper that way than human lungs can manage."

Silk: "But if there is another guardian, it may be dangerous ..."

Alyssa: "Are you willing to risk it? We don't know what could be down there."

Silk: "As as we can follow she should not go alone and we should remain close in case of an attack."

SonoftheMetalFlame: "As close as we can with unknown amounts of water separating us."

SonoftheMetalFlame: "I can only imagine how deep the lake must be to hide a city the size I believe Shebeth is.'

Silk: "Agatae hovering over the water may be a platform to step off of for exploration ... say, are there more demons that might be useful for this?"

Astrid: "Well, I'm pretty tough, like I said--if it comes to a fight, I can change back and beat them before I run out of air--probably"

Silk: "Some sort of, I don't know, like that Stomach Bottle Bug that was mentioned in your Demons 101 class? Only for lungs?"

Astrid: "But yeah, at the least, I can get an idea of what's going on down there"

SonoftheMetalFlame looks at Silk, his face lighting up. "Yes, I can think of a demon much like what you describe."

Silk: "Strike one for your academy's education then!"

SonoftheMetalFlame: "It will take me all of five days to summon enough for each of us, unless Astrid doesn't mind simply remaining as a fish while we're below water."

SonoftheMetalFlame: "It can be a bit painful to use them and is known for causing people become a bit weak, but it's nothing that lasts for too long once you remove it from your lungs."

Astrid: "I don't mind"

Astrid: "I'll just hop off then and find something suitable"

Silk: "I could not find any signs of our competitors, so that will have to do. Certainly they will face the same difficulties and delays once they arrive."

SonoftheMetalFlame: "So be it. I will begin summoning at sundown, and will continue for the next three days."

Silk thinks. "Another possibility that occurs to me would be to illuminate the water with our animas. It would be decidedly less than subtle, but a totemic anima might be enough to shed light on the lake's depths ..."

SonoftheMetalFlame: "I imagine subtlety won't be required, so that sounds like a good plan to me."

Alyssa: "Well, I doubt anyone would get close enough to see us doing that if we do so at night."

Silk: (or Astrid could use that forced-transformation Charm to turn us all into fishes!)

Astrid: ((>_> Don't have that Knack)0

Silk: (I know, but if you did it would be an amusing possibility ;) )

SonoftheMetalFlame: (( Our intrepid heroes, upon defeating the deadly demon, venture into the lost city of Shebeth... as fishies! ))

Kuros: (We'll fast forward through your demon summoning...)

Kuros: (They look like little jellyfish you have to swallow, and you're going to lose 1HL while they are implanted)

Silk will have spent the four days continuing to scout the perimeter of the lake and visiting the Crossroads Inn once a day to see and hear if there's news of any relevance)

Kuros: Heading to the lakeshore?

Silk: Silk's clothes shift to become a shimmering, water-repelling fabric. He leaves a large part of his weaponly behind, bringing an only slightly crazy number of knives strapped to various parts of his body and - curiously, to Astrid - a length of rope wound around his upper right arm.

Silk: Not covered by his sleeves his orichalkum hearthstone bracers are visible now.

Kuros: The lake water is still clear and still, and opaque beyond a dozen feet

SonoftheMetalFlame shakes his head at Silk. "An outfit for every occassion..." he mumbles.

Silk grins. "Indeed."

Astrid: "That's kinda convenient..." Astrid replies, fumbling with the catch at her neck and taking off the usual concealing cloak--not wanting to have any dead-weight if anything was going on down here. Of course, this left her form-fitting silver armor in full view--but she was quick to hop in the lake and change into the form of some kind of whiskered fish, swimming around a bit to get her bearings

Astrid: Then diving down a bit to get an initial look

Thelaos coughs, still uncomfortable with the alien inside of him, and follows Astrid into the water..

Alyssa walks slowly into the water until she's waist deep, wearing a much shorter skirt than she usually does.

Silk swallows his demon, stoically ignoring the sickening feeling, then takes a running start, leaps and penetrates the water's surface with nary a splash

SonoftheMetalFlame wades out until the water is up to his chest and then dives forward.

Kuros: The water is somewhat tepid

Alyssa swallows her demon at last and then walks deeper until the depth forces her to start swimming.

Kuros: As you swim down, the opaqueness fades, and the water becomes crystal clear. Ten more feet down, you see a huge, golden barrier encompassing a massive crater at the bottom of the lakebed.

Astrid: ((Activing Eye of the Cat our of Personal Essence--don't want to get blindsided by something immaterial))

Kuros: At one side of the golden dome, you see a small structure that intersects the golden barrier.

Kuros: It looks to be a building, perhaps 800 square feet and one story high.

Alyssa: Alyssa swims towards the structure, activating Spirit-Detecting Glance.

SonoftheMetalFlame swims toward the structure as well.

Silk: Agreeing that this seems to be the obvious course to take Silk follows.

Astrid: Astrid takes the lead--she would, at this time, be the best suited for immediate response to any upcoming troubles...

Kuros: It takes some time to get there, and you feel the pressure increasing as you get deeper. The building looks to be made of a golden/white mottled material, with no apparent structural seams or joints. On the outside wall is a square door, with several large runes in Old Realm scribed in a golden metal on it.

SonoftheMetalFlame frowns.

SonoftheMetalFlame: (( Are we able to speak underwater? ))

Kuros: (No.)

Silk cocks his head, letting golden letters in Riverspeak appear in the water beside him. "What does it say?"

Alyssa writes 'Sealed for all time' in the mud of the lake bottom.

Astrid the fish read the text, and looked up questioningly at what this could mean

Silk swims close to the door and starts auscultating it like a doctor - or a safe cracker - might

Kuros: There are 5 small keyholes along one side of the door.

Silk: <<There are keyholes here,>> appears in golden script. <<Let's see if they respond to mortal keys ...>>

Silk: From a pouch at his belt Silk produces a number of small metal implements and starts conducting a symphony of lockpicking on the door.

Alyssa facepalms and then swims closer to look at the keyholes.

Kuros: (New Larceny Specialization: Underwater Lockpicking)

Alyssa reaches into her cleavage and pulls out a small golden key on a chain.

Silk: After a minute Silk stops. <<Some sort of magic or artefact seems to be required. :( >> (yes, a smiley of golden light)

SonoftheMetalFlame: (( Haha ))

Silk frowns <<Our orichalkum keys? But we have only four ...>>

Alyssa shrugs and tries the key in one of the locks.

Kuros: As you insert it, there is a click, and the sound of something massive moving

Alyssa backpaddles and wishes she could have carried her staff while swimming.

Thelaos stands(swims) back from everything while the others investigate the door.

Thelaos reaches for his daiklave when the sound shakes through the water, but realizes how pointless it would be to swing a blade under water.

SonoftheMetalFlame raises an eyebrow. From a pouch, he withdraws two keys and inserts them in two of the locks.

Astrid swims forward a bit, in case unpleasantness winds up happening

Kuros: Two more clicks, and sounds of massive movement.

SonoftheMetalFlame looks to Silk, and then at the lock, and back at silk.

Silk brings out his key, worn around his neck on a piece of string, and inserts it into one of the remaining locks

Silk: <<We're missing Caran's key.>>

Kuros: A final click, and with a flash of golden light, the rectangular section disappears, revealing what appears to be a control room. One side of it is covered in what looks like golden crystals and half torn apart papers and books. The interior of the room is covered in dust, and smells of ancient mold. There are pieces of smashed furniture and twisted metal, as well.

Kuros: However, floating above a golden metal post in the center of the room is a cloudy, crystal sphere about the size of an apple.

Kuros: Oddly enough, the water doesn't flow in through the open door.

Silk pokes a knife through the separation point of water and air

Alyssa reclaims her key

Thelaos cautiously swims closer.

Kuros: It goes easily into the air, Silk

Silk: A hand follows, then Silk goes through entirely, trying the air in the room.

SonoftheMetalFlame doesn't hesitate as he enters the room, careful to make sure he's oriented to land on his feet.

Silk: Not detecting any danger there, he waves the others to follow.

Kuros: The air is old and musty, but breathable.

Kuros: Your clothes are perfectly dry as you emerge.

Alyssa follows Silk into the room.

Thelaos slowly steps into the room, and looks back at the wall of water now behind him, "huh."

Silk: Silk's clothes return to being concealing and many-layered

SonoftheMetalFlame: walks directly to the crystal sphere, looking it over.

Astrid: The Fish swims through a bit, then turns back into Astrid after flopping on the ground for a minute. "That's... A very uncomfortable form to be in" She says, shuddering once

Kuros: The sphere bobs gently in the air, rotating slowly.

Astrid: "I don't think I like being a fish"

SonoftheMetalFlame looks over the pedastal it floats over, trying to find some writings or markings.

Silk: "A fish out of the water is like ... well, a fish out of the water."

Kuros: There are no writings or markings on the pedestal or the orb.

Astrid: Astrid sniffs once. "It's kinda gross, I much prefer air-breathers"

Silk: (are there keyholes on the inside as well or any other obvious way of opening this door from the inside?)

Kuros: (No.)

Alyssa nods absently and starts poking through the books and papers, trying to get a sense of their meaning.

Thelaos: "Hopefully you won't have to do it again.."

SonoftheMetalFlame turns to everyone. "I suggest you all stand back. I am going to try to figure out how this orb works, and if something catastrophic happens, it would be best you're not near me."

Thelaos does as Son suggests! (how big is this room? are there any exits?)

Kuros: (The room is about 1000 sq ft, and the only exit is the way you came in.)

Silk: "Maybe we should wait in reclaiming our keys as well - I don't see any way to open this door from the inside and I don't particularly care for being 'sealed for all time'."

SonoftheMetalFlame turns back around. He slowly reaches both hands out and places them on the crystal.

Kuros: As you touch the crystal, the cloudiness fades away, revealing a scene...

Kuros: You see an aerial view of a city you recognize as Nexus..

Kuros: It stays for a few moments, and then the sphere clouds again and resolves into a new scene

Kuros: This one shows a beautiful woman, and a huge man (which anyone who has seen Yurgen will recognize as him), in the midst of an army.

Kuros: Another scene...

Kuros: You see a city with massive golden spires, and thousands of ape men walking the streets

Silk has stayed close to Son, trusting in his Dodge charms in case of explosion, and memorizes the strange sights the sphere shows

Kuros: This one of another ruined city, with the massive Imperial Mountain in the background...

Kuros: Another scene..

Kuros: You see a huge city that seems to stretch on forever, with rivers of gold and liquir material running through them.

Kuros: You see strange, inhuman beings walking down the streets, chatting amiable, and stone dogs prowling about.

Astrid: "Oh dear..." Astrid said, frowning. "Wasn't one of those places that big sorcery place?"

Silk: "One of them certainly was Meru, from a different point of view this time."

Alyssa: "Well, I recognised Nexus and the Imperial Mountain, but that's all."

Astrid: "Yeah... Sperimin they called it... We don't want to go there"

Astrid: "It's a bad place"

Alyssa: "Meru's just as wrecked as it was last time I visited."

SonoftheMetalFlame has a stoic expression on his face. "What confuses me is that these are all visions of cities - except for that of the army."

SonoftheMetalFlame: "Led by the bitch I met in the memory crystal."

Silk: "Yeah, four places of great importance, one barbarian army?"

Silk: "So that is Xera? That would make the man ..."

Alyssa: "The Bull!"

SonoftheMetalFlame nods.

Silk nods. "Two weeks distant, if my conclusions from overheard rumors are correct."

Thelaos: "Wait.. what were all of those places? I only recognized Meru from descriptions I've read, and Nexus."

Thelaos: "What *is* Sperimin? And what was the last one?"

SonoftheMetalFlame steps away from the crystal and begins searching through the books and manuscripts for more clues.

Alyssa: "Sperimin looked familiar, but I can't place the other one."

Astrid: "Sperimin? It was the big academy of sorcery way back in the first age?"

Astrid: "Now? It's run by a psychotic babyeater super god queen who'll probably tear us apart as soon as look at it... Like I said, it's a bad place"

Alyssa: "Charming."

Astrid: "We probably don't want to go there"

Silk: "Yeah, pass on that one."

Thelaos: "I see."

Silk: "We certainly don't need /more/ enemies."

Astrid: "The only upside I can see is that she's sitting on the Book of Three Circles--but good luck grabbing that"

Alyssa: "Any thoughts on the last one. A city larger than Nexus should be well known."

Silk: "However, there's another matter that has me a bit confused: Where's that city we were looking for? This room seems to be a dead end."

Silk shakes his head. "No idea. I have never even heard of such a place."

Thelaos thinks over what they just saw and crouches down to the thumb through a few of the papers strewn about. He picks up one of the gold crystals and looks it over.

Alyssa: "You have a point. If this were to be an entrance, surely there should be another door."

SonoftheMetalFlame holds up a few papers. "These seem fairly relevant. And ominous."

Thelaos: "Ominous..?"

Silk: <<What,>> Silk begins to write into the air, before stopping himself and asking out loud: "What do they say?"

SonoftheMetalFlame holds them out. "Take a look."

Kuros: You find what looks like a map of Creation...except it is far bigger, and has two continents and quite a few island chains...

Kuros: Kuros: You also find pages torn from a journal that read:

Kuros: ...Shebeth must be left where it lies. We do not know what evil overtook us during these past centuries, but since we returned, we have never seen things clearer...

Kuros: ..we built the key too well. We cannot destroy it. Each of us will take a piece of it, and hide it as well as we can...

Kuros: .if the usurpers catch up to us...then perhaps we deserve it, for what we did..."

Kuros: You also find reports of strange animals you've never heard of, including drawings that seem somehow fundamentally different

Kuros: ...we are agreed to leave this piece of the key, under the protection of a guardian, against a future need for what we created..."

Kuros: (and that's all)

Alyssa: "Ominous indeed. Even if Shebeth is under here, it seems this is only part of the key. And it might be better left unfound."

SonoftheMetalFlame: "Perhaps it would be, but I should think it better that we find it than the Bull."

Silk frowns. "Manipulation or genuine warning, be that as it may, I agree: Neither the Bull nor the Mask can be allowed to gain control here."

Silk: "Which poses a bit of a problem, now that we have slain the guardian ..."

Alyssa: "'since we returned' is an interesting phrase. Returned from where?"

Astrid: "Who knows"

Silk: "And what is that about the key? Would it be too obvious to consider a connection to these golden keys?"

SonoftheMetalFlame: "Well, I would say that if we made it into here, then we've already proven that the golden keys are part of the puzzle."

Alyssa: "Probably. If part of the key is already here then it must be something else."

Silk reads the journal again. "Yes, one part of 'a' key, singular."

Thelaos: "You think the rest of them are left in the places we just saw?"

Astrid: "It would explain why the Bull's massing near one"

Silk: "Indeed."

Astrid: "More importantly--how would he know to look though?"

Silk: "That must be how he knows of this."

Astrid: "I mean, we didn't know there were keys and such involved until we actually breached the defenses"

Astrid: "And we had four keys to boot--so how did he know there was more important keys if you needed others to get through, as well as defeat a powerful demon?"

Thelaos: "It's difficult to say. Maybe he found some record of all this elsewhere..?"

Silk: "Maybe his piece wasn't so well hidden and defended?"

Astrid: "Why though? This sounds like the kind of thing you'd keep very secret, not spreading it around regularly"

Astrid: "I don't buy it, the Solars were apparently very paranoid about letting dangerous information fall into hands other then their own--if they themselves sealed something up, I doubt they'd make it easy to even get a 'Hint' that there's seomthing going on"

Silk: "There is one more channel through which such information could have been transmitted - we all have some memories of past lives, broken pieces as they are ..."

SonoftheMetalFlame continues to search the room, scrounging through the broken crystals and furniture for any other possible information...

Thelaos looks over the crystal in his hand idly, "Maybe we should ask him."

SonoftheMetalFlame stop suddenly and looks at Thelaos. "Pardon?"

Thelaos: "It seems The Bull is already more directly involved in this than we realized, and we're going to have to deal with him sooner or later."

SonoftheMetalFlame: "If we are to speak with the Bull of the North directly, I would much prefer that we have something of an upper hand."

Alyssa: "True. Away from his army, at least."

Thelaos: "Agreed."

Silk: "Can you gauge the power of the Twilight, Xera? You have met her on the field of battle, so to speak ..."

SonoftheMetalFlame: "It's hard to tell. I had little trouble with her, but that may be because of the arena in which we met."

Silk: "Some form of conflict is inevitable. Logic would dictate that he would see us just as we have seen him, as soon as we take up this piece of the Key. Then we will have declared ourselves his rivals at the least, possibly even mortal enemies."

SonoftheMetalFlame: "Then we will need to begin gathering an army."

Silk: "The question is, do we strike first, take his part and eliminate him as a competitor or make use of our greater mobility instead?"

Thelaos: "I'm not sure that we will. His army may be vast, but it isn't a threat to us."

Alyssa gives him a sceptical look. "Oh?"

Silk: "Or do we enter in negotiations, surrendering the element of surprise in part, but making an attempt at peaceful resolution at least?"

Thelaos looks at Alyssa, "His army will not be able to keep up with us. Even if we move on foot, we're faster. Moving that many soldiers is a slow process. And whil the Bull and his sorceress ally may be able to travel as quickly as they'd like, I doubt he will leave his hordes behind."

Silk grins coldly. "And if he does, he risks someone coming during the night and poisoning them all. Or wreak some similar mischief upon them while he is away."

Alyssa: "Alright, I see what you mean. I do think that talking to him would be worthwhile. There's a decent chance he knows of us anyway, so we're hardly giving up surprise."

Silk nods. "It also gives us a chance to assess his forces, Exalted and otherwise."

Thelaos: "Alternately, we could make for Nexus and investigate the city for any sign of more information about what exactly we're looking for and what happened to your predecessors."

Alyssa: "It would probably be fairly easy to write him a letter."

Thelaos: "As for the ruins of Meru and this 'Sperimin'... I do not know how we can approach them."

Alyssa smirks. "I believe I recall a way to get to Meru."

Silk: "Reaching Meru is not so much the problem as are the dangers of the ruins themselves."

Silk: "Sperimin from what you said seems to be the most dangerous of all the places, so that might have to wait. But Nexus is obvious enough, although a rather big haystack to find our needle."

Silk: "A letter might not be the best way to communicate with the Bull, I would think. A parley at a more or less neutral location on the other hand ..."

Silk: "I could investigate his army ahead of time, so that we would know the size of his forces."

Alyssa: "A letter to suggest a neutral parley. Unless you plan to walk right into his camp to invite hi... right. Forgot who I was talking to."

Thelaos: "Even if he does agree to such a meeting, he can't be trusted to follow any agreements. He's already tried to destroy Son through trickery."

Silk nods. "He might try to attack during the meeting. But to do that he needs to either bring additional forces with him, which we would likely see in advance, or he would have to be sure that he can defeat us."

Silk: "And he cannot be sure of that. His agents never made it back to him to report our strength."

Silk: "If four of us attend the meeting, he might discern that we are all Exalted, but determining our power ahead of time would be very difficult. He will not want to take the risk of losing."

Thelaos: "I almost hope that he would."

Silk shrugs. "It might be the easiest way as well as one involving the least amount of collateral damage ..."

Thelaos: "In the mean time.. we should find a way to get as much of these texts to the surface as possible. I'm sure there are details we haven't found yet."

Alyssa looks at the water outside. "Do you have anything waterproof here?"

Silk: "I can form waterproof pockets in my clothes."

Alyssa: "Well then, Silk can carry the paper out safely then."

Silk: "The question is whether they would not be safer in here. Without our keys, how likely is it that he can get in here? If on the other hand we remove them from here, we not only have to carry them but store them safely as well."

Thelaos: (you said this looked like a 'control room,' right? I take it there are controls?)

Kuros: (Yes, there were the banks of smashed crystals.)

Silk: "If we leave them at Son's academy, it would become a target again."

Thelaos: "Yes.. but these may take days or weeks to read through in full. We don't have much time."

Silk: "You mean in here? Bad air?"

Thelaos: "I had not thought of that. What I meant was that the Bull is on his way, and the Mask of Winters may be as well."

Silk: "The Bull's army at least is two weeks away, barring major sorcery. He himself could be faster of course ..."

Thelaos: "Very well. I don't have a key, so I will keep watch on the surface if you prefer to pore through this information down here."

Silk shrugs. "Both are valid courses of action, but we have to be aware of the consequences of each."

Alyssa: "The longer we stay down here, the more likely someone comes down here when it's open."

Silk: (ok, so what do we want to do 1. with the books and stuff? 2. about the Bull?)

Alyssa: (I recommend packing them to travel with and sending him a message

Alyssa: (if he wants to meet on neutral ground, do so.)

Thelaos: (take the texts, seal the room, send a letter, and be on our way)

Silk: (and indeed, we should take it - the question is whether we take it now or leave it there for a few more days, not alerting the Bull to our interest until the last moment)

Thelaos: (yeah, we may as well take it right before we leave)

SonoftheMetalFlame looks about the broken crystals a bit more, and picks a few up that look intact.

Thelaos: "Do you think any of this can be repaired?"

SonoftheMetalFlame: "Maybe with some time and a bit of work."

Thelaos: "We may have to return here some day."

Silk experiments with his clothes, letting them cycle through several forms until he has a tight suit of the same shimmering, water-repellant material but with large pockets on his back and at his thighs.

Kuros: (OK, this is a good stopping point. You guys can continue to discuss if you want.)

Astrid: ((Alright, thanks for the scene then))

Kuros: (7xp. Next game is Saturday at 1pm.)
