Moto Temujin[edit]
The Khan, Clan Champion and daimyo of the Moto family, Temujin is a 28 year old unmarried man who fiercely defends the Unicorn. He bridles against the Imperial Herald, Miya Shikan, because he longs to set his forces loose against his enemies, most notably against the Lion, who he firmly believes would lose a war against the Unicorn and Crane Alliance, and against the Scorpion, who he blames for the increase in crime, opium and and gambling across Rokugan.
Shinjo Kotoku[edit]
The daimyo of the Shinjo family, Kotoku is often called "The Accidental Daimyo" because his two older brothers died, the first, Rokaro, dying in a duel with Shosuro Sora, a Scorpion woman who Rokaro accused of dishonoring his wife. The second, Tekkai, died a year ago in an accident while trying to tame a wild horse. Kotoku, a young 19 year old man, has surprised many by proving remarkably adept at handling his new position, and shows signs of being a strong leader.
Utaku Xiulung[edit]
The daimyo of the Utaku family, the 27 year old woman is a superb horsewoman and skilled tactician. She has rarely left the Unicorn lands, but is said to posses outstanding beauty, and would not lack for suitors otherwise.
