Hatch name: Tandakariss<br>
Use name: Driss<br>
Age: Hatchling<br>
Breed: Lind<br>
Affinity: Frost<br>
Personality: Concordant<br>
Ambition: Undefined<br>
<br>
Tandakariss is a bluish-gray hatchling, longwhiskered and sinewy, reflecting more the cold mists and fogs of the Frost affinity than hard angular ice (although the latter still certainly come to Driss when he has need of it.) Too young to be yet considered "wise", Driss is still quiet and thoughtful by nature, but easily roused at the hint of mystical secrets, and will also go out of his way to help smooth over any disagreements that may rise naturally within the fledge, as well as of course assisting with any endeavors they decide to embark upon as a group. <br>
<br>
Memories of the purpose for which he has hatched, to help stem the rising threat of Diabolicals, drift hazily in and out of Driss's mind, but he has yet to decide HOW he plans on eventually going about this, and thus his Ambition remains undefined for now.<br>
<br>
Mastery: Sensitivity (Lind) - Spend a coin to 'scan' the aspects (permanent and current) of one named character, group of extras, or scene, continue scanning at no extra cost (other than actions)<Br>
Mastery: Winter's Chill (Frost) - alter scene by adding fog or ice (and associated aspect), create ice armor for self only (blocking dice succeed one through five), or aspect a notable character or group of extras with numb/frozen/etc trivial aspect, this aspect may block a mastery you're aware of. One coin for each option, may spend multiple coins as one action.<br>
Mastery: Multiplicity (Concordant) - Copy aspects - 1 coin: aspect lasts for scene, 2 coins: aspect lasts for day, 3 coins: aspect lasts for ten days, Double Cost to make aspect notable instead of trivial.<br>
<br>
Drive: Agreeable Nature (Concordant) - Draw an additional coin when I fulfill another's influence (once per scene)<br>
Drive: Shared Wisdom (Lind) - Draw a coin when you share knowledge with those who wish to possess it.<br>
<br>
Influence: An Accord (Concordant) - Award a coin once per scene to another player when someone comes to an agreement unusual for them because of my presence.<br>

'''Moves:''' Basic, plus:

Pack Alpha: When you impose your will on your gang, roll +Hard. On 10+, you get all three, on 7-9, choose one:
--They do what you want
--They don't fight back over it
--you don't have to make an example of one of them

Fucking Thieves: when you need something, roll +hard. On 10+, one of your guys has it. On 7-9, they have something similar unless it's high tech or rare. On a miss, somebody stole it.

Gang: The Ice Weasels. About 15 tough guys and girls. They ride late-model tricked-out snowmobiles retrofitted for more cargo space and light armor. They're fuel efficient and faster than almost anything on the ice. Downside, they're a bitch to maintain and spare parts are hard to come by. The bikes are mostly black, but they keep white tarps to cover them with in hostile territory, and their outfits are dirty white to blend in. They have no particular discipline or battle order, but they take care of their bikes and weapons out of self-preservation. Nobody wants their ride to crap out on them when they're fleeing snowmen or carrying trade goods. I can flesh some out names and one-line descriptions if that would be helpful.

Mechanically: well armed and armored, high maintenance bikes: (3-harm gang small savage 2-armor vulnerable grounded)

'''Gear:''' Domino wears the prettiest gear of any Weasel, flowing white coats with armor plates sewn into them, warm and protective both (1-armor), with a white helmet with mirrored glass.
Her snowmobile, Lady, is bigger and shinier than the rest, with armor that's been installed with care, not just slapped on, room for another rider in back and ample cargo space, and an engine powerful enough lead the pack. It sucks down way more fuel than the other ones, though. (fast, aggressive, luxe, guzzler)
Weapons: SMG (2-harm close area loud), sawed-off shotgun (3-harm close area messy). Weapons are for when you can't run away.
Taming Bufo was one of the earliest tasks Max set upon Sean, and he's grown fond enough of the big lug to claim him as an anchor. To his credit, Bufo hardly ever tries to eat Sean these days.
''Anchors'':
*'''Bufo''' spends most of his time in Locus Helferth, but on occasion Sean has a task where the presence of a giant, man-eating, poisonous toad with a large jewel in its forehead to be helpful. Taming Bufo was one of the earliest tasks Max set upon Sean, and he's grown fond enough of the big lug to claim him as an anchor. To his credit, Bufo hardly ever tries to eat Sean these days.
*Sean's favorite outfit includes '''a pair of cargo pants and a fishing vest''', the many many pockets of which are somewhat predictably filled with various tools and assorted oddments. The benefits of claiming them as an ordinary anchor are many and subtle: comfort, durability, lack of needing repairs or cleaning, and the occasional push to wondrous pocket capacity when such a thing becomes necessary.
* get +1 weird
=====The Fights:=====
Attractions: Spectacle, supported by Games and Scene (seen and be). Everyone comes to the Fight for, well, the fights of course. There's a good amount of gambling on the side, and some people even break out cards or dice between fights. Since everyone who's anyone is there on the nights of the big fights, a lot of people who even might not be interested in the Fights come to meet the right people, or be the right people to meet, themselves.

Atmosphere: Bustle, Violence, Lights, Acoustics

Security: A warren of dead-ends, hideaways, & boltholes / A convenient shotgun.

The facility, whatever it used to be, had a lot of basement. Multiple levels of concrete, echoing passageways, narrow stairs at irregular intervals, rooms looted of all contents identifying their purpose a long time ago. Here and there the tunnels have collapsed, but also here and there the walls between tunnels have collapsed, so it's a twisty maze of passages if you're not familiar with the place.

Of course, most people are, because it's where the Fights are. Nobody knows what the room used to be used for, although good money's that it was a garage of some kind whose original entrance has been lost to ruin and decay. The place is lit with these little strings of dim ambient lights, and strewn with old rusty metal folding chairs around a large central circle strewn with sand. (There's a few much nicer chairs right at "ringside", of course. Angler hooking you up with one of these is pretty much how he uses his Special Move.) There's lots of bustle, people milling around in anticipation, making bets and deals and other such, and then the lights go out for a heartbeat, sometimes two. Then BLAM, the flood-lights centered on the circle blare on, blindingly, and Angler's booming voice echoes throughout the entire tunnel complex... "SHOWTIME!"

Regulars: Lamprey, Ba, Camo, Toyota, and Lits. Toyota's his best regular, a driver who stops by when not delivering messages or packages to and from distant hardholds. He's always got interesting stories to tell, a lot of spare jingle to throw around, and of course he's a devil in the sack. Lits, on the other hand, is a smug asshole. An asshole who happens to be Sadiq's favorite nephew. Politics, you know?

NPCs with an Interest:

Rolfball wants in on the fights. Specifically, he wants them fixed. He's been polite in asking so far, and Angler's been polite in turning him down, so far. Everything's groovy, so far.
Been's the gal who ran the Pits before Angler: they're a time-honored and respected institution, yeah? Officially, she's "retired", a rare and enviable status in Apocalypse World, and Angler sees to her day to day needs with the profits from the big shows.
Gams, one of the hardholder's lieutenants, thinks the fights are a waste of manpower that could be put towards security and enforcement. Sadiq disagrees, seeing the value of bread and circuses, but in the meantime there's no love lost between Gams and Angler.

Cast and Crew:

Six Easy: The wiry bald dude who works as official house bookie, setting the odds and taking the bets. Since he's handling most of the money, he's also usually the guy with the shotgun. He's had to point at a few people, but never actually fire it yet. Usually, once he points it at someone, it's enough of a cue for Sunset to step in and resolve manners.
Exit: A general gopher and errand-boy. Maybe another PC's younger relative, kid brother or cousin?
Raksha, Absinthe, Honeytree: Some of the regular fighters. Honeytree's probably the most proficient among them at actual fighting, but Raksha's the best at fighting with style. Absinthe's the only woman of the regular lot, which gives her a popularity all her own (Of course, she didn't get the job by looks alone: she can easily hold her own against almost all the men she faces.) These numbers are always swelled by travelers, and locals, looking to make a quick buck in the Fights: the fights are never to the death (killing anyone, or even doing permanent damage, voids your cut, although it has happened by accident and "accident" a few times over the years), and while winning makes more money than losing, you can still make some scratch putting up a good fight for a couple of nights.
Sunset: Whether Sunset would win in a fight against the 'regulars' is a matter of much speculation, but she's very good at her job of making sure the fights stay in the ring and not outside it, so Angler hasn't pressed the matter despite being more than a little curious, himself.
Ambergrease: Clean-up dude, cute, a little sweet on Dez.

=====Interesting Facts:=====
Angler plays tight-lipped about his past, before he took over the Fights, before he even came to Gaga. He politely but firmly changes the subject if questions come up, and resents being asked more than once. There's a lot of speculation about those tattoos, especially: abstract flowing patterns that a certain percentage the good-looking men of the hardhold could tell you go a lot further than his face, once you get him out of that white suit and white gloves he's almost always seen wearing in public.

=====Hx:=====
* Hammer+2
* Jones+0
* Sunset+3

=====Interesting Facts:=====

===== Name and Character Type:=====
Angler the Maestro D'

=====Look:=====
Man, immaculate whites, tattooed face, bright eyes, lean body, playful hands.

=====Stats and the Basic Moves:=====
''Cool (Act Under Fire): +1''
Hard (Go Aggro, Seize by Force): -1
Hot (Seduce or Manipulate): +2
Sharp: (Read a Situation or Person): +0
''Weird (Open Your Brain to the Maelstrom): +1''

=====Special Moves:=====

Fingers in every pie: put out the word that you want a thing - could be a person, could be somethin somethin, could even be just a thing - and roll+hot. On a 10+, it shows up in your establishment for you, like magic. On a 7-9, well, your people make an effort and everybody wants to please you and close is close, right? On a miss, it shows up in your establishment for you with strings wicked attached.

Everybody eats, even that guy: when you want to know something about someone important (your call), roll+hot. On a hit, you can ask the MC questions. On a 10+, ask 3. On a 7-9, ask 1:
''• how are they doing? what’s up with them?
• what or who do they love best?
• who do they know, like and/or trust?
• when next should I expect to see them?
• how could I get to them, physically or emotionally?''

=====Gear and Barter:=====
A big ol' knife (2-harm hand)
Oddments worth 1-barter (a small collection of old military medals)

=====The Fights:=====

=====Interesting Facts:=====

= Echoes of those Past, Baron of Reflection =

== Background ==

Echoes of those Past may once have been known as Walter Peck. Peck was an occultist who discovered the existance of what he believed to be immortals. He kept this secret to himself, searching a way to gain this gift himself. Several years ago, he recieved information from a anonomyous source that the consumption of the heart of one of these immortals would grant what he sought.

He tracked one he originally believed to be Niccolò Zucchi, up into the Scottish highlands and witnessed Zucchi, Reflection's Regal conversing with another. This other badly injured Zucchi and left, which allowed Peck the oppurtunity to sneak up on Zucchi and cut his heart out.

Ram-Khvastra, Zucchi's Imperator was furious that one of his enemys had managed to manipulate a pwer-hungry mortal to kill one of his favoured agents and replace him with such a power hungry fool. It's possible he killed Peck and gave the estate to the echoes, it's possible he stripped Peck of his memory, only Ram-Khvastra will ever know.

Cruelly he cursed his fledgling power. Stripping him of his physical body for most of each day and rendering his memory (or not providing him with either). When the confused bundle of reflected light.

Echoes currently figures that he is the final signal of many of the pilots radio echoes that still bounce about the valley and remembers nothing of what he was before. This is why he chose for himself the name of Echoes of those Past. He currently wonders at his limited humanity and his future but happily pursues the goals of his Imperator. He has a strange love/hate relationship with the Power of Memory.

Whispers Past [Lesser Change of Time (6), simple (-1), local (-1), limited application (-2), uncommon (+1) = 3 pts]: Can 'hear' and 'see' the echoes of sound waves bouncing around places long after they should have faded, allowing echoes to relieve past events as if present.

Dust and Echoes [Lesser Change of Reflection (6), simple (-1), local (-1), self-only (-3), limited application (-2), uncommon (+1): 1 pts]: By bending sources of sound around to a point he can gain the ability to speak and show some mannerisms by the echoes of nearby sounds and reflections of nearby objects. This power was granted to him by Ram-Khvastra, very recently to compensate for his curse and Echoes good works.

== Hinderances ==
Cursed (He has Elemental and may only take human form one hour a day, the rest of the time he must be a collection of echoes and reflections. Hence Dust and Echoes to communicate, probably works similarly to Dead.)

'''The Code of the Mystery'''<BR>
1. Never reveal everything, never explain yourself fully.<BR>
2. Nothing that is easy is of worth; no gift is without price.<BR>
3. No enigma is without clue, no cipher is without key, and no puzzle is without solution. <BR>

'''Design'''<BR>
Foxglove and Wormwood are the chosen emblems of Mystery's Estate. The fox is a clever animal, and chasing one requires thought and cunning added to this is the medical mystery of it’s uses as both life saving and life ending substance. Wormwood, the main ingredient in Absinthe, represents bitterness, the bitter taste of her blood in her mouth as she was enNobled. Mary drinks Absinthe often. <BR>
Extra-sensory Perception (1) ''Automatic +1 : Self Only -3 : Limited Comprehensiveness –2 : Uncommon +1''<BR>Her body might only be of mortal strengths but Mary's mind and intuition are respectable even among her peers. Aspect is considered four levels greater for the purposes of her five senses and intuition only.

Limited Shapeshifting (1) ''Simple -1 : Self Only -3 : Limited -2 : Uncommon +1''<BR>Mary can take on the physical appearance of any human woman who has died after Mary’s humanity perished. She may choose to look like that woman’s living form or appear with the wounds of death apparent. For example, when appearing in the form of a woman who was decapitated, she can appear as that woman whole, as that woman with her head stitched on by the mortuary's assistant or Mary can choose to be a headless woman and carry the head in a basket.

Durant (1) ''Automatic +1 : Self Only -3 : Limited : Common +0 ''<BR>Mary's form, no matter what physical features, is not alive. She is technically not more difficult to cause harm to, it's just that she does not require the physical integrity of her body. She does not bleed, has no vital areas to hit and if you dismember her limbs they continue to function within the limits of their detachment, and she can simply choose to reattach them.

Immutable (1) ''Automatic +1 : Self Only -3 : Comprehensive -1 : Common +0 ''<BR>Mary no longer requires nourishment in the fashion of a living human. She enjoys eating, and is fond of sweet cakes and various teas. Her favorite drink is Absinthe. She can also choose to feed on blood, or fear or any number of macabre undead style diets.

'''Wound Levels''' <br>
2 Surface Wounds<br>
1 Serious Wounds<br>
1 Deadly Wounds<br>

= Restrictions & Attachments =

'''Flaws'''<BR>
Relavatory Trait : Corpse<BR>No matter what the form, Mary does not breath, her blood does not truly flow and her heart does not beat. She can take on the blush of life, a freshly dead look if you will, but if for some reason she were required to undergo medical examination there could be difficulties. She is not disembodied, just not alive. Undead, if you choose that term though she does not.

The Three Truths <BR> A person who is able to state three truths about Mystery to her face will find they are protected from her directly affecting them. They gain an effect of having an increase in Auctoritas for every three truths they can speak and it will last for a month for every point of Spirit they posses, or a month in the case of a human. The conditions are; they have to speak it aloud to her. ''It is not enough to just know these things, they must inform Mary that they know these things.'' MP generated at the moment the third truth is spoken. Should that person wish to renew the protection, they must speak three different truths. The truths must also be true for the entity speaking them. “You are beautiful” spoken from someone who does not in fact find Mary esthetically pleasing due to cultural differences or whatever gains nothing. Further note, nothing says Mary must stand still and let the truths be spoken. Provided she is not restrained, she can choose to leave but as her hearing is rather good, she might instead attempt to silence the speaker before the third truth is spoken. It is for the HG to decide who knows of this flaw and who does not know about it.

Former Anchor Revenants <BR>Redjac can at will choose to commit a murder in such a fashion as they become an Anchor for Mystery. When he murders again (a year or a decade later, depending on whim) that person displaces the current Anchor, who then becomes an inhabitant of the Chancel. These Revenants are generally pleasant to most, though they often appear as grotesque corpses or monsters depending on how long they were an Anchor and how painful and unpleasant their death at Redjac's hands had been. They tolerate, dislike or hate Mystery depending on these factors and their personalities. They are never her friends but they are members of the Chancel and will not act so as to cause harm to the Chancel or other members of the Familia. If Redjac invokes this ability at an inopportune moment it could cause issues for Mary, and generate an MP. They are capable of generating an Anchor Bond Affliction which might cause a situation which would generate an MP.

Revenant Anchor Bond Affliction<BR>This has a different effect, depending on what her current Victim-Anchor is. I'm not bothering to name each victim and the HG is of course free to inflict a new one on Mary as is seen to be fit. The current 'Bond' is Stigmata. Mary at times bleeds from the palms, feet and her side. Bloody scars mar her forehead and a whip will crack and scar her back with the marks of thirty lashes. I do envision this as manifesting painfully sometimes. If you've seen the movie "Stigmata" then you have an idea of what I mean. They occur (and give the MP) as the Chancel inhabitants that really hate Mystery focus their hatred at her. And they occur (not granting an MP) as I find a reason to write it as such, leaving bloody footprints on the carpet or bloody smears when I find it artistically suited for what I am writing.

'''Anchors'''<BR>
Redjac, aka Jack the Ripper: A 'Hate' Anchor, he killed Mary Kelly over a century ago, but he hasn't aged appreciably since then and has survived things that should have killed him. He is an unstoppable psychopathic killer, but he can maintain the temperament of a cultured English gentleman. Meeting him, you would never know how close you stood to death. He chooses his victims with care, and he knows that the pain of the murder he inflicts on them is in some part passed on to Mystery, so he chooses sadistic and horrific methods. His current guise is Vincent Jackson, an English stockbroker.

Cynthia Medici: The current Revenant Anchor, a college student who was majoring in philosophy with a minor in religion; Redjac stalked her for three weeks before finally brutalizing and subjecting her to crucifixion upside down. She 'recovered' and graduated, and now translates documents for the Anglican Church. She manifests stigmata rarely, only when the Chancel Revenants really concentrate on hating Mary, but with enough frequency to hate Mary as well.

Benhimself:

[[RedLilies]]

'''Unnamed'''
Viscount of Memory
A man whose past has been lost, ruling over a broken estate.

''First Impression Text''

The Power of Memory appears to be a man of little in the way of noteworthy or distinctive features. Average appearance, average dress. Ultimately, forgettable. This extends to the Sight, with him appearing as an ordinary human being, unless he is within the Auctoritas of someone with noteworthy (2 or greater) spirit, at which point his aura manifests as a mass of broken and jagged shards of images of the past, in constant flux: an effect many nobilis not used to find quite disturbing, or at least unnatural.

==Attributes==

===Aspect 1===
''Metahuman''

5/5 Aspect Miracle Points

Memory has less personal power than average, although he is not entirely without strength of body or swiftness of thought. While not capable of blatantly supernatural acts of myth of legend without pushing himself, he rarely falters or seems the fool.

I have 1 Aspect. That means I perform Level 1 and under Miracles for 0 MP. I perform Level 2 Miracles for 1 MP, I perform Level 3 Miracles for 2 MP, I perform level 4 or 5 Miracles for 4 Miracle Points and I can perform level 6 through Level 9 Miracles as a Word of Command which costs 8 MP.

1 Deadly (1 left)
2 Serious (2 left)
2 Surface (2 left)

===Domain 2===
''Viscount''

6/6 Domain Miracle Points

Memory was once a perfect, flawless thing: a symbol of mankind's ability to take joy in past accomplishments, and learn from past mistakes. Eriskali's attack killed the old power of Memory, and dramatically weakened the estate, such that it is now subjective, biased, unreliable.

The Estate, in addition to the obvious, also includes the physical artifacts of memory: diaries, photographs, monuments, and the like. Memory could, if he chose to do so, hear the prayers of historians, those of advanced age and lengthy memories (a class of people somewhat rare since Eriskali's attack also established a correspondence between age and forgetfulness) and any deeply dwelling on their past.

I have 2 Domain. That means I perform Level 2 and under Miracles for 0 MP. I perform Level 3 Miracles for 1 MP, I perform Level 4 Miracles for 2 MP, I perform level 5 or 6 Miracles for 4 Miracle Points and I can perform level 7 through Level 9 Miracles as a Word of Command which costs 8 MP.

===Realm 2===
''Realm's Heart''

5/5 Realm Miracle Points

Memory's role within the chancel has yet to be defined, given the chancel has yet to be rebuilt. This level of realm, being intimately tied to the Realm's Heart, shows that his Imperator trusts him despite his lack of a past, and his choice of affiliation: this sign of trust is sometimes reflected upon by other Nobilis with respect.

I have 2 Realm.

===Spirit 0===
''Candleflame''

5/5 Spirit Miracle Points

Ruling over a broken estate, Memory has little of the burning sense of "self" that grants other Powers strength and resistance to hostile miracles in their presence, and his capacity to generate the love or hate necessary to Anchor a mortal is greatly limited.

I have 0 Spirit. That means I can have 1 anchors. My Auctoritas raises the level of all Miracles cast against me by 0 Miracle Levels. I don't bother with the Rite of Holy Fire. With the Rite of the Last Trump I can convert 4 MP of any type into 1 MP of any other.

==Gifts==

===Constant Domain: Lesser Destruction===
Any time, any where, if it would be advantageous for him for it to occur, a lesser destruction of Memory occurs. (9 points.)

===Unblemished Guise===
(Penetration 1). Memory appears as human to the Sight, unless within an Auctoritas of strength 2 or greater. (1 point)

==Handicaps/Limits==

===Broken Estate===
Part of the nature of the damage manifests as the fact that, while with effort he can create new memories, he is incapable of healing or protecting existing memories, and cannot perform miracles of Preservation. (Limit, 1 DMP)

===Disturbing to the Sight===
When the penetration is acquired to break his Unblemished Guise, his aura is quite disturbing, as described above. 1 MP when this causes a negative impression when Memory wishes for a good one.

==The Code of the Fallen Angels==
1. Corruption is the highest principle.
2. Suffering is a form of corruption.
3. Power justifies itself.

Being master of a broken estate, Memory instinctively gravitated to the code which sees the virtue in imperfection. If pressed, he will invent rationalizations or justifications for the code as necessary.

==Bonds==

5 - The Sanctity of his Estate, and his efforts to fix it.
5 - The safety, health, and happiness of his Imperator
5 - The safety, health, and happiness of his Familia
5 - The (as of yet unconstructed) Chancel.

Lacking a past, these bonds reflect those loyalties hardwired by his commencement, and will change as he encounters things and forms personal attachments to them.

==Anchors==
None yet.

==History==
Forgotten by all, including himself, and no records remain to tell the tale.
