Real Name: Zayne Darr

Alias: The Warlord

Species: Agonite

Appearance: To be added in the near future.

Powers: Zayne's abilities are a result of not only his alien physiology but also the extensive genetic engineering that goes into the construction of an Agonite warlord. His natural abilities include the superhuman strength and reflexes that have stemmed from both Agon having a more powerful gravity than Earth and a naturally more powerful body, a limited healing factor that speeds the repair of wounds and his recovery from illnesses, and a more than human acuity of the body's various senses. Upon being promoted to a Warlord in the Agonite military Zayne received several genetic modifications to further enhance his capabilities as a warrior. His strength, speed and reflexes were increased substantially as was his ability to regenerate from being wounded. His senses, already respectable, were similarly adjusted. The final and most impressive of Zayne's abilities is his reactive physiology - this genetic enhancement allows his body to adjust to stimuli so as to increase Zayne's chances of survival. His military training has made Zayne a capable hand-to-hand combatant and he is a more than capable strategist.

Background: To be added in the near future.

Personality: Agonites are known for their competitive attitudes, though these competitions are commonly held for the purpose of individual self-improvement rather than for the defeat of an opponent and in this Zayne is a typical Agonite. He fights to protect those that he cares for but also to test and improve his skills prodigious skills against his enemies. These contests are, for Zayne, more than games but less than war. He carries himself tall and has the air of self-respect that one expects from career military but underneath he has a rather jovial nature.

Motivation: As was mentioned above Zayne is motivated to improve himself through combat and to protect those that he cares about from any and all danger - living in Freedom City allows for quite a bit of both. Though it has been recently set on the back burner, Zayne does plan to one day repair his damaged ship and return home to mother Agon and continue the long war against the Hiveans, a race of insect-like aliens that desire nothing less than the extermination of his species and the occupation of their worlds. He dreads the shirking of duty.

Halt Evil Doer! is a Mutants and Masterminds campaign that is being run from the Gleemax Forums on the www.wizards.com site. It is a Play by Post campaign that emphasizes storytelling over dice rolling.

The campaign is set in the Freedomverse of the Mutants and Masterminds line and is meant to invoke a Silver Age mentality of unabashed heroism with only the occasional nod towards the fact that the setting is remarkably surreal by any stretch of the imagination.

Players are not required to possess the Mutants and Masterminds game line to play but are encouraged to, if they have the money and inclination, to pick up the Mutants and Masterminds main book and the Freedom City campaign book. Arguably, the second is more important than the first since this is where the majority of setting information will come from.

Players are encouraged to check out the Eberron campaign this board Shadows over Cyre, Wrath_of_the_Lich_Queen, and Forgotten_Freedom:Crew
