Lucrezia "Lucy" Lopez is a character in [[Kingdom_vs._Reich:Main_Page|Kingdom vs. Reich]].
==Background==
Born in Havana, Cuba to an aristocratic family, Lucy lived a sheltered, comfortable life, at least until the Sight came upon her just before her 18th birthday. Taken into the Order, she graduated from Knight training at age 21 and, being a fiery, irrepressible free spirit and bitterly resentful of authority figures, immediately rebelled and went rogue, shirking her holy obligations to the Knighthood and scandalously reveling in a life of daring crime and long con jobs.

After three years of increasingly successful thieving, she fell in with the nefarious jewel thieves the Kerrigan brothers, Eric and Julian - and into a torrid and passionate affair with Eric, inciting the seething jealousy of Julian. The jealous sibling turned on Lucy and her lover, betraying them to the Miami police, and when the dust and smoke cleared, Eric was dead at his brother's hands, the jealous murderer was vanished into the wind, and Lucy was in handcuffs. Two years into her five-year sentence, the Knights found themselves direly short on manpower in an hour of desperate need, and pulled strings to get the remainder of Lucy's sentence commuted, contingent upon the promise that she return to the fold. With her only other option being an intolerable three more years in federal prison, Lucy has agreed to play the good little soldier... for now.

[[File:Lucy_in_Action.jpg|thumb|left|Lucy in action!]]

==Relationships==

1) Who do you Trust?

...

2) Who do you have an Issue with?

Anyone who falls into the general category of "button-down do-gooders." Maybe Nicole, Jakob, Malik? Altruism is simply not a motivation that she understands. She doesn't object to it, exactly, she just doesn't trust it. It's like dividing by zero, it just does not compute. They simply -have- to be playing some sort of angle; in Lucy's mind, people just do not behave like that outside of fairy tales, and the more a person claims to be genuinely righteous, the more she suspects that they're really just biding their time, waiting for some sort of window of opportunity in which they can finally reveal their true purposes.

3) Who do you Yearn for?

Jakob. Oh, how much fun she'll have with leading him on, making him think she somehow has a secret hidden moral center which could burst into glorious dominance if only she had a kind-hearted mentor, someone to help her and understand her and intervene on her behalf. Of course, it's all just hollow playacting; Lucy is pretty much a lost cause in that regard.

... or is she?

4) Who do you Work best with?

...

==Cover ID==
Lucy's cover identity is "Lisa Benedetti," an unremarkable, unassuming young woman, recently graduated from the the University of Texas with a major in linguistics, whom IRS documents indicate works occasionally as a part-time bartender in Austin, but who lives mostly off of a trust fund established by the courts after the tragic death of her parents in a plane crash when she was four years old. "Lisa Benedetti" is, to put it frankly, boring. She has no special status or noteworthy qualities, except that she can mix a fantastic Long Island iced tea in six different languages. Which might seem an odd choice for a cover identity, unless....

Although Lucy has little use for politics or philosophy, mainly considering governments (i.e., ''la policia'') as obstacles to be overcome in the course of her various activities, she culturally identifies as fiercely, pridefully Cuban, born and raised in Havana, and only coming to America when she was recruited by the Order of Light. She's Cuban in her blood, and in her skin, and (when she's not suppressing it) in her accent. So her cover identity has one single invaluable aspect which is its sole purpose in having been fabricated and maintained for the past eight years (especially if we're playing in an America which at all resembles the real America of 2017).

"Lisa Benedetti" is a natural-born American citizen. She has a United States passport and a Texas driver's license and is a registered voter in its 35th congressional district. She "exists" solely for the purpose of ensuring that Lucy doesn't run the risk of getting detained by immigration enforcement officials when she should be gallivanting about the world while she saves it.

*Informant: Hephzibah Larue - bartender, voodoo priestess. Has her finger on the pulse of Boston's supernatural scene.
*Tree of Life: The forestwalker’s communion gives them the ability to tap into the very life essence of the natural world, and to use that to the benefit of the wounded and the injured. By touching living plants, the forestwalker may transfer some of that life essence into another living being, healing it of wounds and disease at the cost of some of the life force of the plant itself. By anointing the brow of the suffering mortal with a bit of the sap of the tree, then placing a hand on each, the forestwalker transfers life essence from one to another, healing the subject for 1d6 HP. This ritual can be completed once per day.
*Eyes of the Beast: The forestwalker may sense any animals within 100 meters, and by going into a trance, may send their spirit into the creature and “ride” its mind, experiencing its senses as if they were their own, and may “suggest” that it take a specific action with a WIS check, gently guiding it towards the desired action. If the creature journeys beyond a kilometer from the forestwalker, the creature is injured, or the forestwalker themselves are attacked or the trance interrupted, the link is severed instantly. While within the mind of the creature, the forestwalker may also attempt to search its memories for events in the recent past (no more than a month), but this is challenging, as animals do not possess a human sense of time, and it takes considerable focus to sift through the information. Make an INT check: on a success, the forestwalker finds the information they seek, but on a failure, the creature’s mind rejects the forestwalker’s presence and the link is broken.
*Totem: Snake "Caduceus" – Viper’s Sting : Strikes with short blades inflict almost venomous pain, dealing an additional 1 damage per turn that can only be stopped by magical healing.

Jakob Cross is a character in [[Kingdom_vs._Reich:Main_Page|Kingdom vs. Reich]].

==Background==
Jakob was born to an established Knight family and raised with high expectations. He learned both martial and magical techniques and theory; spell formulae, Military Theory, Weapons familiarization, and a rigorous physical fitness regimen. Unfortunately he has grown up somewhat sheltered and has difficulty relating to other people in social situations.

Personality wise, he tends to observe the situation before leaping in, being more cautious than adventurous. He has a dry sense of humor and enjoys making people laugh. He believes strongly in the Cause and has a dim view of those who shirk their duties.

Lucrezia "Lucy" Lopez is a character in [[Kingdom_vs._Reich:Main_Page|Kingdom vs. Reich]].
==Background==

==Cover ID==

Lucrezia "Lucy" Lopez is a character in [[Kingdom_vs._Reich:Main_Page|Kingdom vs. Reich]].
==Background==
Born in Havana, Cuba to an aristocratic family, Lucy lived a sheltered, comfortable life, at least until the Sight came upon her just before her 18th birthday. Taken into the Order, she graduated from Knight training at age 21 and, being a fiery, irrepressible free spirit and blithely resentful of authority figures, immediately rebelled and went rogue, shirking her holy obligations to the Knighthood and scandalously reveling in a life of daring crime and long con jobs.

After three years of thieving, she fell in with the nefarious jewel thieves the Kerrigan brothers, Eric and Julian - and into a torrid and passionate affair with Eric, inciting the seething jealousy of Julian. With her only other option being an intolerable three more years in federal prison, Lucy has agreed to play the good little soldier... for now.
She has no special status or noteworthy qualities, except that she can mix a fantastic Long Island iced tea in six different languages.
== Biography ==

'''Briony Domdaniel''' ("Bri", pronounced like Bree) is a 17-year-old junior at the [[Socinian Institute of New York]]. The Domdaniel name has a longstanding association with the school; the family has been sending its daughters and sons there since its inception. The Domdaniels are Manhattan "old money," having accrued formidable wealth in the ancestral motherland (County Clare) and imported it with them to America in 1802. Briony is the sole current inheritor of that heritage, the beloved, pampered only child of Colin and Lindsey Domdaniel. Though she's clearly quite smart, performing brilliantly in class exams and standardized tests, she's rather a lackluster academic, owing mostly to her tendency to blow off the occasional class or assignment, and it's commonly (and correctly) assumed that she was accepted to the school based on her family's influence and habit of making frequent and significant donations. Nonetheless, her GPA is never allowed to dip scandalously low; she blithely skates through her coursework thanks to a combination of her aristocratic name, natural charm, and native intelligence.

Everyone at Holy Question Mark knows Briony. She's an intuitively social creature, breezing effortlessly into the good graces of most everyone she meets, and she is rarely encountered outside the company of a sizable segment of her vast nebula of friends. She simply seems to have a "presence" about her, an intensely sunny aura that puts people instinctively at ease, and it's clear that she is well accustomed to being the center of attention. Although she's managed to avoid much of the disdainful haughtiness one might expect from a cosseted blue-blooded princess, she is known to react with petulance or indignation when she perceives that her Queen Bee standing has been slighted, or that she has not been afforded the attention or deference due her.

One may be left with the distinct impression that Briony takes it somewhat for granted that she'll be picked captain of the cheerleading squad next year, after [[WtHQM:Liz Pardew|Liz Pardew]]'s matriculation. Until then, however, she's filled her extracurricular roster with activities she considers basically to be variations on the theme of "hanging out with her friends": yearbook committee, Homecoming committee, school newspaper. The only one she takes seriously enough to have accepted any responsibility for, though, is the editorship of the ''Book of Questions,'' the Institute's quarterly student creative writing publication, which since she was a freshman has always included at least one of her own poetical submissions. Many of these works have actually been pretty good, and increasingly so as she gets older, and this year the ''Bo?''<nowiki></nowiki>'s faculty advisor has encouraged her to explore her poetic voice, in the hopes that it might concomitantly spark her interest in her Literature classes.

As to the monstrous troubles of the wider world, Briony remains blissfully dismissive. Violence is a thing that happens to other people. (People without money, mostly.)

== Advanced Spirituality ==

Within the confines of [[WtHQM:Rev. Foley|Rev. Foley]]'s [[WtHQM:Advanced Spirituality|Advanced Spirituality]] class, Briony is known to be what she refers to as a "psychic," able to read the auras of people and objects, and a "witch," an aptitude for and style of sorcery which she claims to be her ancestral birthright, the result of being descended from the [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tuatha_D%C3%A9_Danann Tuatha Dé Danann]. Whether she's truly borne of ancient faeries is of course not readily provable, but Briony clearly believes her family's lore with unquestioning blind faith. She's commonly held to be the shining star of the class, with consistently stellar marks from Rev. Foley serving to prop up the balance of her GPA.

Briony’s spell-hanging repository is a pendant, a large irregularly-faceted vibrantly green garnet in a gold setting (it looks very much like the necklace pictured at the bottom of [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Garnet this page], but it’s one large stone rather than a field of small ones). It was a gift from her grandmother and a treasured family heirloom, said to date back to the beginning of the Domdaniels’ association with the Good Folk, and for reasons either forgotten or unknown in the first place, its name is the Dreaming Eye. She is absolutely never without it on her person; it stays with her through showers, swimming pools, and metal detectors, and is the subject of a long-lasting stabilizing sorcery, renewed as necessary, which ensures that the stone won’t inadvertently come loose from its setting or the chain slip from her neck.

One may be left with the distinct impression that Briony takes it somewhat for granted that she'll be picked captain of the cheerleading squad next year, after [[Liz Pardew]]'s matriculation.

== Advanced Spirituality ==

Within the confines of [[Rev. Whether she's truly borne of ancient faeries is of course not readily provable, but Briony clearly believes her family's lore with unquestioning blind faith. She's commonly held to be the shining star of the class, with consistently stellar marks from Rev. Foley serving to prop up the balance of her GPA.

== Biography ==

One is left with the distinct impression that if the Socinian Institute were large enough to field a football team, Briony would be captain of the cheerleading squad. In the absence of that, though, she's filled her extracurricular roster with activities she considers basically to be variations on the theme of "hanging out with her friends": yearbook committee, Homecoming committee, school newspaper.

'''Martha Ginger "MG" Raskey''' is the eldest daughter of General Douglas Raskey and old money heiress Nancy Astor. Her going to a well-regarded and well-guarded private school was assured, especially given that she excels at math and music, presents a polite facade to adults, and states as her ambition engaging in complex geographic analysis to aid in the containment and eradication of the T-Menace. She performs well in classes, though not at the top of the school, and she has enough memberships and extra-curriculars to be typical but not a leader. If anyone thinks to ask her about it, she just says she likes being a doer, grinding through problems and getting solutions as opposed to directing others to do the same.

'''Cleveland Jaeger''' (everybody calls him Cleave) is a tall, lean fellow, good-natured and a bit on the quiet side (unless you get him talking about some kind of martial art, at which point he may talk your ear off), and an Olympics-track competitive fencer (he fences épée, because right-of-way is ridiculous).

''Fun Facts About Cleave:''
* He has an extensive collection of movies involving hand-to-hand and melee combat. The rumor that he ''only'' owns movies involving fighting is false, but understandable.
* He's banned from any future Ren Faire visits after using a fake ID to participate in a weapons demonstration.
* He has an heirloom rapier, named ''Schlichtheit'' (translated: "Simplicity") that he keeps on the wall in his room.
* He plays an assortment of musical instruments proficiently. His ukulele rendition of "Bohemian Rhapsody" is legendary among the fencing team.
* He plays tournament-level go, having gotten started because of the anime series ''Hikaru No Go.''
