==Background==
Marcellus is a character in the Dark Heresy PBP game - Ghosts of Eons Past 
The third son of Baron Samedi Vulpine, Marcellus spent his younger years growing up in the luxurious surroundings of the family mansion in Hive Sibellus, after his mother died when he was 9 the Baron Vulpine grew increasingly detached from his son, eventually sending him to be educated in the Chantries of Tarnus. 
Marcellus suffered there, surrounded by enemies he had to fight for every bit of influence he could and grew increasingly detached from the church and his fellows as a result. Though to his tutors he was a bright and aspiring cleric dedicated to the Emperor Marcellus grew into a petty and power hungry one. Spending money and earning favours from the lesser clerics Marcellus soon had a sizeable faction in the chantry dedicated entirely to him. After the massacre of a cleric of the K'rtel Military Cartel along with some of his followers Marcellus suffered severe censure, he was arrested and awaiting trial when he was approached by the Inquisition...
