:Ivartha is not tall (she&#039;s 5&#039;6&amp;quot;) or notably muscular, but she does have the iron calf and thigh muscles of someone who walks or rides everywhere. She&#039;s brown-skinned, with dark brown wavy hair that begins to curl at around shoulder length, and grey eyes. She usually leaves her hair loose but plaits it to keep it out of the way when she needs to.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
:She wears a white sleeveless knee-length linen tunic, embroidered with a band of Fertility and Harmony runes in white thread on a band of green around the hem. Round bronze clasps fasten the tunic at the shoulders, one showing a Harmony rune and the other depicting the serene face of Chalana Arroy. It&#039;s tightened with a long green sash at her waist, which she folds over to form a pocket to keep small items in.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
:At home or around the village, she usually goes barefoot but for longer journeys or when the weather isn&#039;t kind, wears canvas sandals which strap up around her lower legs.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
:In hot weather, she wears a broad-brimmed straw hat decorated with a band of white cloth.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
:In cold weather, she&#039;ll swap the tunic for a warmer one made of wool and wear wool socks (yes, with sandals) or felt boots.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
:To keep rain and cold off she has a white wool cloak. It has a very prominent set of Harmony-Fertility-Harmony runes on both front and back in blue. She fastens this at the right shoulder with a round clasp embossed with the swan symbol of the Hiording clan.&lt;br /&gt;

:She carries a canvas bag at her hip with the strap slung across the opposite shoulder. The bag is decorated with beadwork showing an image of Chalana Arroy holding her hand up in blessing. She keeps her medical supplies - bandages, salves, remedies, tools, etc. - and her votive figure of Chalana Arroy in it. She has a small knife and the keys to her home fastened to her sash.&lt;br /&gt;

:She wears a curiously shiny stone with a hole in the middle, worn smooth in a river, as a necklace on a ribbon around her neck, and a delicate silver chain around her right ankle with small charm dangling from it depicting a leaping horse and rider. The latter was passed down to her from her mother, who told her it&#039;s Grazelander work passed down from her grandfather. She&#039;s brown-skinned, with dark brown wavy hair that begins to curl at around shoulder length, and grey eyes. She usually leaves her hair loose but plaits it to keep it out of the way when she needs to.&lt;br /&gt;

:She wears a white sleeveless knee-length linen tunic, embroidered with a band of Fertility and Harmony runes in white thread on a band of green around the hem. Round bronze clasps fasten the tunic at the shoulders, one showing a Harmony rune and the other depicting the serene face of Chalana Arroy. It&#039;s tightened with a long green sash at her waist, which she folds over to form a pocket to keep small items in.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
:At home or around the village, she usually goes barefoot but for longer journeys or when the weather isn&#039;t kind, wears canvas sandals which strap up around her lower legs.&lt;br /&gt;

:In hot weather, she wears a broad-brimmed straw hat decorated with a band of white cloth.&lt;br /&gt;

:In cold weather, she&#039;ll swap the tunic for a warmer one made of wool and wear wool socks (yes, with sandals) or felt boots.&lt;br /&gt;

:To keep rain and cold off she has a white wool cloak. It has a very prominent set of Harmony-Fertility-Harmony runes on both front and back in blue. She fastens this at the right shoulder with a round clasp embossed with the swan symbol of the Hiording clan.&lt;br /&gt;

:She carries a canvas bag at her hip with the strap slung across the opposite shoulder. The bag is decorated with beadwork showing an image of Chalana Arroy holding her hand up in blessing. She keeps her medical supplies - bandages, salves, remedies, tools, etc. - and her votive figure of Chalana Arroy in it. She has a small knife and the keys to her home fastened to her sash.&lt;br /&gt;

:She wears a curiously shiny stone with a hole in the middle, worn smooth in a river, as a necklace on a ribbon around her neck, and a delicate silver chain around her right ankle with small charm dangling from it depicting a leaping horse and rider. The latter was passed down to her from her mother, who told her it&#039;s Grazelander work passed down from her grandfather. She also a gold arm ring in the shape of a snake, gifted to her by Queen Samastina of Nochet. She is very proud of this.&lt;br /&gt;

She&#039;s notably curious, looking at everything with her head tipped to one side. She seems to like being around sheep.&lt;br /&gt;

:Ivartha lets Levru carry most of her heavy items, like a bedroll or spare clothes. She&#039;s fastened a rope to the saddle with a loop at the bottom to help her climb up, which can be a challenge if Levru doesn&#039;t cooperate by lying down.&lt;br /&gt;

&#039;&#039;&#039;Origin&#039;&#039;&#039;: Needing money for her university studies, she took part in medical testing which turned out to be more than a bit shady. Most of the subjects died, Abi ended up with &amp;quot;spider powers&amp;quot;. She&#039;s super agile, sticks to walls, can spin webs and can &amp;quot;sting&amp;quot; people that she touches with a paralysing venom. Just like a black widow spider...&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
She&#039;s pretty certain that any records pinning her identity down were lost in the fallout, but the Alchemist, who was carrying out the experiments, knows that the Black Widow is one of their products and has tried on several occasions to capture her for further testing.&lt;br /&gt;

&#039;&#039;&#039;Power Source&#039;&#039;&#039;: Illegal genetic experimentation.&lt;br /&gt;

&#039;&#039;&#039;History&#039;&#039;&#039;: Abi is a fine arts student at the Cornish College of the Arts. After the disastrous medical experiments she had volunteered for the summer before she started her course, she spent a while keeping her head down before finally feeling compelled to use her powers for good. Now she&#039;s trying to juggle learning the ropes as a superhero with her university course. She really is very new to this hero lark. (I deliberately tried to build her traits to reflect this - she doesn&#039;t have any investigation skills to speak of and, apart from the things that are her &amp;quot;shticks&amp;quot;, she&#039;s quite shaky.)&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&#039;&#039;&#039;Personality&#039;&#039;&#039;: A bit out of her depth. She&#039;s an art geek, a bit serious-minded at times but she is still an impetuous kid. In her superhero identity, she deliberately tries to project a bit of scariness with her codename and a black-and-red costume, but she&#039;s not nearly as scary as she&#039;d like to be. She&#039;s quite aware that she&#039;s been managing so far with a mixture of blind luck and persistence, and she&#039;s just hoping to get away for it with long enough that she doesn&#039;t have to panic a little bit every time she puts on the mask.&lt;br /&gt;

&#039;&#039;&#039;Heroic Motivation&#039;&#039;&#039;: She&#039;s inspired by the example of other heroes who&#039;ve gone before her. Let&#039;s say that there&#039;s a memorial to a dead superhero (of whom she was a childhood fan?) somewhere near her university, which she sees quite often. After she got her powers, it made her feel guilty every time she saw it.&lt;br /&gt;
