First and foremost, join the "rpgnet" channel in order to be able to chat with the rest of us, no matter what server you're on. To join, either right click on a chat tab and choose "join channel", or use the command:

/chanjoin RPGnet

A lot of people use binds to make it so that when they press a key (the p key in the example below), they can just start typing and have the text go to the rpgnet channel.

Multiple MANIACS

The story of the Multiple MANIACS began when had what I thought would be a fun idea for PvP in City of Villains.

I would create a Brute named Multiple MANIAC with Dual Blades and Willpower.

I would then find 7 other people to create stalkers with Dual Blades and Willpower and the same exact costume named:

Then we would cruise around PvP zones with all of the Stalkers invisible. I would run up to a hero/hero group and get off maybe one attack and yell "Multiple Maniac Multiple Attack!" and then all 7 stalkers get off their Assassin Strikes.

That would be awesome.

Some people have asked if they can play Brutes with stealth instead of Stalkers. You can (I'm no hardass), but it probably won't be as good an experience for our enemies, as they may see you through your Stealth, thus spoiling the surprise. But feel free.

Some people have asked if they can use a secondary other than Willpower. Please feel free.

Multiple MANIACS

The story of the Multiple MANIACS began when had what I thought would be a fun idea for PvP in City of Villains.

: (played by [[User:dunlaing|dunlaing]]) [[GWS:Devon McWilliams|Devon McWilliams]] was turned away from the Navy for being too short. It boiled his blood that he wouldn't be able to help out against the Nazis and Japanese, but it seemed like there was nothing he could do about it, at least until he got a call from his sister asking him to meet her in Washington, DC. [[GWS:Devon McWilliams|Devon]]'s sister was busy getting ready when he arrived, but she had left a pitcher of drinks on the table, so he helped himself. When [[GWS:Julia|Julia]] came out, she was shocked to see her brother drinking her experimental [[GWS:Shark Repellant|Shark Repellant]]! [[GWS:Julia|Julia]] quickly brought [[GWS:Devon McWilliams|Devon]] down to her office at the [[GWS:OSS|OSS]] for tests. After extensive testing, they realized that not only had [[GWS:Devon McWilliams|Devon]] grown to a full 6 feet tall, but he now possessed the ability to control sharks, and his teeth... his teeth! The effects wore off after a few hours, but with [[GWS:Julia|Julia]]'s help [[GWS:Devon McWilliams|Devon]] created a supply of [[GWS:Shark Repellant|Shark Repellant]] that should last him through the rest of the war, and Landshark was born!

Julia McWilliams is Landshark's sister. She is based entirely on the real-world [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Julia_Child Julia McWilliams] (who later changed her name to Julia Child when she married). She really did work for the OSS developing shark repellant during the war.
