The lobby of an old hotel, overgrown with vines. Much of the hotel has fallen, though some of it has been made structurally sound. The Source is in the lobby, a large pool of clean drinking water that is filtered in through the muck of the lake water. It's cool and delicious and without taint.

A member of the Black Lotus and destroyer of Mountain's Shadow.

Hooded Cobra, like many of the higher-ups in the Black Lotus Society, hides his true identity. It's not unusual for the more important members to also hold positions of power and trust, using their true loyalties to sink the Black Lotus deeper into the heart of society, where they may grow like a cancer.

Hooded Cobra's ruthlessness is an odd thing. The Black Lotus does not attack in force, as he did when he struck against Mountain's Shadow. He had to know this would get the attention of the Wulin and that is something the Black Lotus generally tries not to do.

Mountain's Shadow was a small village at the base of a sheer cliff. A trick of the mountains surrounding the town meant that it would often get a period of extended twilight during the day, getting lit up again when the sun passed between the peaks. The great waterfall, Winterspear Falls, and the magnificence of the cliff made for it a popular pilgrimage for those in the Wulin.
