Our Chief is Wolf, and he gained the name in his youth when he singlehandedly slew the majourity of a wolf pack that was threatening our livestock.

Well, I was hoping to hear from Shadow before I posted, since I don't know the Chief's name... but I will say that the chief is an older veteran and well-loved for his past glories. He is generally fair-minded, and deferred to the old shaman's advice on justice matters, but does not respect (it seems) Strongarm. His flaws include a lot of nepotism, and perhaps a bit too much bloodlust -- he spoils for a fight against perceived slights, although his temper is on a slow burn rather than quickly burning. He's recently taken the tribe's warriors into a few ill-chosen battles, which, though they have not been completely diastrous, have cost the tribe dearly.

As a result of that arm, I am ill-suited to fighting, and therefore was made the old shaman's apprentice. He has died early in this most recent famine, taking ill quickly, and leaving the job to me, too early for my own taste -- I have seen only seventeen summers, a man by the tribe's rules but hardly old enough to garner the respect the job should have. I am also (partly due to my youth) temperamentally unsuited to the celibacy the position (formally) demands.

Ghost is my mother's brother (younger or older depends on how old Ghost is. I get the feeling he's an older warrior, mid-thirties or so, but that could be wrong).

'''History:''' I was named that to attempt to bring blessings on my right arm, which was withered and feeble from birth. It was a failure; though I can move the arm, and even grasp (very gently) things, it remains feeble and useless for any but the lightest work.

As a result of that arm, I am ill-suited to fighting, and therefore was made the old shaman's apprentice. He has died early in this most recent famine, taking ill quickly, and leaving the job to me, too early for my own taste -- I have seen only seventeen summers, a man by the tribe's rules but hardly old enough to garner the respect the job should have. I am also (partly due to my youth) temperamentally unsuited to the celibacy the position (formally) demands.

Ghost is my mother's brother (younger or older depends on how old Ghost is. I get the feeling he's an older warrior, mid-thirties or so, but that could be wrong).

We live in the Stone Crown, a natural out cropping of basalt and obsidian which is spiky and juts in the sky. Many tribes fear its fearsome appearance, calling it unnatural, and the paths to it are confusing and sharp to those who do not know where to step. We've taken to wearing thick shoes and arm coverings, to protect us should we fall. Many have scrapes along their skin, it's part of living here.

We live in the Stone Crown, a natural out cropping of basalt and obsidian which is spiky and juts in the sky. Many tribes fear its fearsome appearance, calling it unnatural, and the paths to it are confusing and sharp to those who do not know where to step.
