:Existem duas maneiras de agrupar perícias, baseada no objetivo/resultado da ação ou baseada na fonte da habilidade. Para permitir que uma fonte mágica bastante evoluída forneça bônus para cada uma de suas magias individuais, é preciso agrupá-las por fonte.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
;O que são Books?&lt;br /&gt;
:Um Book é um caminho de aprendizado mágico vinculado a uma fonte mágica específica. Como exemplo, imagine um Mago da Escola de Pyrhum, que durante seu ritual de iniciação criou um vínculo espiritual com um elemental de Fogo, servo do poderoso espírito Pyrhum. Neste caso, o &amp;quot;Book of Pyrhum&amp;quot; contém todas as habilidades que a dupla Mago-Elemental pode utilizar e a evolução dentro do Book representa tanto a evolução de cada um dos dois individualmente quanto a evolução da ligação espiritual entre eles. Este Book provavelmente conterá as magias que tradicionalmente associamos a magos &amp;quot;de fogo&amp;quot;, como criar bolas de fogo, imunidade a calor, espada flamejante, etc. Em compensação o Book não poderá conter magias estranhas ao conceito do elemental de fogo, como cura, controle mental e teletransporte.&lt;br /&gt;

Desta forma, é impossível um jogador evoluir uma perícia abrangente e fácil para conseguir pontos em uma perícia semelhante e difícil, pagando menos pontos de XP.&lt;br /&gt;

Mesmo supondo que a dificuldade de montar uma armadilha é a mesma de acender uma fogueira, existem inúmeros tipos de armadilhas diferentes, enquanto todas as fogueiras são semelhantes. Logo é natural que a evolução da perícia Armadilhas seja mais cara.&lt;br /&gt;
;7 - O que é Dificuldade?&lt;br /&gt;
:Pense em Colheita Feliz &#039;&#039;versus&#039;&#039; Battletoads. Mesma abrangência, dificuldades diferentes. Dentro do sistema, a dificuldade é um modificador permanente associado a cada perícia. Por exemplo, Colheita Feliz ganha +2 em toda rolagem, portanto um personagem com Colheita Feliz = 12 fará testes de dificuldade normal (sem outros modificadores) contra o valor 14. Já o personagem cuja perícia Battletoads(modificador -3) está no nível 12 fará o mesmo teste contra o valor 9.&lt;br /&gt;

:Primeiro pensei em abrangência e dificuldade. Decidi que a dificuldade da perícia atua como um modificador em toda jogada, e a abrangência define tanto o custo de evolução quanto as listas de herança. Desta forma, é impossível um jogador evoluir uma perícia abrangente e fácil para conseguir pontos em uma perícia semelhante e difícil, pagando menos pontos de XP.&lt;br /&gt;
;4 - Definição de Perícia.&lt;br /&gt;
:&#039;&#039;Proficiência na utilização de um recurso que pode ser desenvolvida com a prática ou estudo.&#039;&#039;&lt;br /&gt;
;5 - Porque usar esta definição centrada nas fontes a uma definição centrada nos objetivos das perícias?&lt;br /&gt;
:Escolhi a versão perícia-fonte, contrária à ideia de perícia-função, por três motivos. Para introduzir as escolas de Magia mais facilmente na lista de perícias, para categorizar as perícias de combate armado e para balancear os Atributos, que ainda não foram definidos.&lt;br /&gt;
;6 - O que é Abrangêcia?&lt;br /&gt;
:O campo de ação de uma perícia, intimamente relacionada com a quantidade de perícias que &#039;&#039;defaultam&#039;&#039; para ela e com o custo para ser aprimorada. Por exemplo, Armadilhas &#039;&#039;versus&#039;&#039; Fazer Fogueiras. Mesmo supondo que a dificuldade de montar uma armadilha é a mesma de acender uma fogueira, existem inúmeros tipos de armadilhas diferentes, enquanto todas as fogueiras são semelhantes. Logo é natural que a evolução da perícia Armadilhas seja mais cara.&lt;br /&gt;
;7 - O que é Dificuldade?&lt;br /&gt;
:Pense em Colheita Feliz &#039;&#039;versus&#039;&#039; Battletoads&#039;&#039;. Mesma abrangência, dificuldades diferentes. Dentro do sistema, a dificuldade é um modificador permanente associado a cada perícia. Por exemplo, Colheita Feliz ganha +2 em toda rolagem, portanto um personagem com Colheita Feliz = 12 fará testes de dificuldade normal (sem outros modificadores) contra o valor 14. Já o personagem cuja perícia Battletoads(modificador -3) está no nível 12 fará o mesmo teste contra o valor 9.&lt;br /&gt;

NYSRPG (Not Your Standard Role Playing Game), or just nys for short, is an rpg system under development.&lt;br /&gt;

In [[NYSRPG:Main_Page|nys]], abilities are everything that the character knows, like fighting with a sword or decrypting an arcane glyph, and everything the character is capable to do, like climbing a mountain or balancing on a tightrope.&lt;br /&gt;

Abilities can be learnt and further improved as the character gets more experienced.&lt;br /&gt;

Techniques are sub-abilities that a character can learn to improve the effect of an ability in a specific situation.&lt;br /&gt;
