Character History
Raz's earliest memories were of a tough daily struggle to survive, scavenging, scrounging, fighting
for food and shelter in the slums of the city. Abandoned by parents whom he could not remember, Raz
roamed the streets, living by the sleight of his hands and the quickness of his wits. By the age of
10, Raz had gathered a small band of about 6 other kids who acknowledged him as their leader, and who
followed him about. Collectively, the gang was known as "Al-intiqaam", or "Retribution" in the
Nascerine language.

There was a strange black-garbed man, a foreigner, who came into the slums one day. He gathered up
several of the street children, gave them food, clothing, and a roof over their little heads. At the
end of one week in which the stranger carefully observed each child he took in, some of the children
were put back into the streets. Some however, were given a choice of a lifetime - serve "The Sect" in
exchange for a chance to improve their lot in life, or return to the slums from where they came from.
Raz, seeing his chance at making something of his miserable and pathetic life, threw in his lot with
"The Sect" and never looked back, henceforth leaving his life in the slums behind forever. Together
with several others who made the same decision, Raz was brought to a secret location in another part
of the city. There under the strict watchful eyes of the black-garbed stranger who was joined by
several other similarly dressed men and women with stern impassive faces, they began their brutal
training to become deadly shadow warriors of the sect of the Marijah Assassins.

It's been 12 years since. Of the original group who began the training, only a handful survived to
finally take their place as full members of the sect. Raz who had performed excellently throughout the
training, was the 1st of his batch to be honored with his very 1st mission - He is to travel far north
Kazahk is a Erewornian Sorceror of peasant descent. He appears in the Dragon Warriors: The Elven Crystals PBP campaign as a player character played by Morrig.

Character History
Kazahk was born to simple farmers in a tiny village in Ereworn, just south of the great forest of Gallow Wood.
The villagers led a relatively peaceful if hard life, being so poor that they were largely ignored by
marauding bandit bands who frequent the area. To the superstitious folk of the village, the forest to the
north held great mystery and fear. Rumors abound of a demon-man named Hasulfang with dreadful magical powers
who lives in the forest near its southern edge.

One day while out gathering firewood, the 8-year-old Kazahk ventured too far into the dark forest and was
attacked by a pack of foxes intent on having him for a meal. A fearsome stream of fire sudden flared up,
setting several of the predators on fire and driving away the remaining, leaving the boy shaken but unhurt.
Opening his eyes cautiously, the young Kazahk looked up and saw only a grey robed old man with a long bushy
white beard standing before him leaning on a strange-looking staff. The young Kazahk correctly deduced his
savior to be Hasulfang, quickly impressing the old sorceror with his keen mind and unusual fearlessness. It
turned out that Hasulfang was no "demon-man", but a rather skilled sorceror who fled to Ereworn to escape
powerful enemies in his homeland of Krath. The rumours about a demon-man while not started by Hasulfang,
were rather welcomed by him since it caused the villagers to avoid the forest where he made his dwelling and
leave him alone.

Recognizing Kazahk's talent for the occult, Hasulfang, with the help of a rather spectacular display of
magical pyrotechnics, impressed the boy into becoming his apprentice. Over the next 12 years, unknown to the
rest of the villagers, Hasulfang took up the boy's education, training him in the secrets of the arcane arts,
teaching him to read and write, passing on knowledge about the history and lore of the Lands of Legend.
Kazahk proved to be a gifted student, learning quickly, mastering everything Hasulfang had to teach.

In Kazahk's 20th year, a plague of Black Death swept over the village and surrounding areas, killing his
family and wiping out more than 3/4 of the village's population. Those who survived drifted away to other
places looking for safe havens still untouched by the plague. Having no place to go, Kazahk moved in to live
with his master, the now aged Hasulfang increasingly weakened by old age. Hasulfang eventually died of old
age 2 years later, leaving his meager possessions to Kazahk. There being nothing left for him in the place of
his birth, Kazahk, now a young man of about 22, decided to venture forth into the world to seek his fortune
by his wit and arcane abilities.

Raz who had performed excellently throughout the
training, was the 1st of his batch to be honored with his very 1st mission - He is to travel far north
to the frigid wastelands of Krath. There, he is to track down and kill a deserter, bringing the
Kazahk is a Erewornian Sorceror of peasant descent.

Raz is a Ta'ashim Assassin of unknown descent. He appears in the Dragon Warriors: The Scoured Lands PBP campaign as a player character played by Morrig.

Raz who had performed excellently throughout the
training, was the 1st of his batch to be honored with his very 1st mission - He is to travel far north
to the frigid wastelands of Krath. There, he is to track down and kill a deserter, bringing the
traitor's head back with him when he returns to the sect.
Raz is a Ta'ashim Assassin of unknown descent. He appears in the Dragon Warriors: The Scoured Lands PBP campaign as a player character played by Morrig.

Raz who had performed excellently throughout the
training, was the 1st of his batch to be honored with his very 1st mission - He is to travel far north
to the frigid wastelands of Krath. There, he is to track down and kill a deserter, bringing the
traitor's head back with him when he returns to the sect.

Raz who had performed excellently throughout the
training, was the 1st of his batch to be honored with his very 1st mission - He is to travel far north
to the frigid wastelands of Krath. There, he is to track down and kill a deserter, bringing the
Kazahk is a Erewornian Sorceror of peasant descent.

Raz is a Ta'ashim Assassin of unknown descent. He appears in the Dragon Warriors: The Scoured Lands PBP campaign as a player character played by Morrig.

Raz who had performed excellently throughout the
training, was the 1st of his batch to be honored with his very 1st mission - He is to travel far north
to the frigid wastelands of Krath.

Raz who had performed excellently throughout the
training, was the 1st of his batch to be honored with his very 1st mission - He is to travel far north
to the frigid wastelands of Krath. There, he is to track down and kill a deserter, bringing the
traitor's head back with him when he returns to the sect.
