== Ghost Hunt ==
This takes place in the Phoenix castle Morikage Toshi (location p17). Sometime in the late Eight century (we're now in the 12th) a Phoenix lord abused his former dragon wife. The former dragon wife took her life, consumed by grief the mother of the wife cursed the castle and the lord that ruled it. The caste became over run with plant life and the ghost of the former dragon still haunts the palace. It was used sometime in the 11th century to hide the kidnapped Totoru I. Giving even more fuel to wanting it cleansed so it would not be used in such a way again.

The characters will include a phoenix shugenja who is a direct decedent of the castle's Lord, when it was cursed. The castle belongs to her family and her family Daimyo wants it back. So she must go with an assembled group to cleanse the castle of it's curse. The shugenja is assigned her group at her Daimyo's request.

Of course the Daimyo's first precaution was to assign a Phoenix bushi yojimbo to protect the young shugenja. The yojimbo has fallen in love with the shugenja and is quickly becoming the jealous scorn lover.

After that a direct decedent of the dragon that cursed the castle is going. He however is a brash young bushi of house Toshi and doesn't want anything to do with this quest. He's only going out of duty.

Along with the Dragon bushi is a monk with knowledge in setting ghosts to rest. He learned of this quest and asked to come along since his knowledge of ghosts would be much help.

=Overview=
Marvel Comics' Age of Apocalypse limited series was published in 1995 and explored what might have happened if Charles Xavier had been killed before the formation of the X-Men. It was a phenomenally brutal series where fan favorites and signature characters were snuffed out at unexpected moments. The series was recently reprinted in a four volume graphic novel format, inspiring me to play out stories set on this backdrop. I was also looking for an excuse to use Wild Talents, and its gritty mechanics make for a very good fit.

=The Characters=
Because I am running this game in a fairly episodic manner, but still want to follow story arcs I've elected to have the players use multiple characters. When they are not all present we switch to a flashback featuring one of the main characters and the remainder of the players using alternates. Occasionally we have used a completely alternate cast of characters.
