The Mistress of Blades is believed to be one of the names of the Red Knight.
==History==

* ''Pardallion, the Azure Wind - The World's Greatest Swordswoman!'' - A trail of duellists, warlords, evil conquerors and dark priests litters the road behind Pardallion. Not all of the victories were easily won, and she was even overmatched by several of her opponents (such as Redsorrow, an Avenger who was known as the Blade of Bane), but Pardallion is renowned the world over as being the greatest blade who has ever lived. It's been a long, hard road, attained through risk, hard work, and constant, constant study and training. She now wants a daughter and student who can surpass her.

Pardallion is the world's greatest Swordmage, at least to most Sage's reckoning. Some of her legendary feats include -

* ''Born of a thug and a whore, she rose from humble beginnings.'' - Pardallion was originally the daughter of a dock worker and a whore on the hard docks of Rokashas, a middling size port city on the Sea of Dragons. Her life was originally slated to be following in either her mother's footsteps or her fathers - daddy was a minor crime boss on the docks. However, Martinae The Azure Wind literally bought the brave little girl who defended her gang from 3 much older and tougher ruffians. While she lost, Martinae noted that the fast and athletic girl never gave up and always dragged herself to her feet with her knife. This began a 25 year life of adventure that would see Pardallion assume Martinae's mantle when student surpassed mentor at the battle of seven hills.

* ''Pardallion was transformed from a guttersnipe child into a bold adventurer.'' - Pardallion was brought by her new mistress across the world, and sent on many missions on her own. Martinae Half Elven hammered the girl with rigorous physical training and gruelling academic study. During this time Pardallion first had her heart broken in the Underdark, and almost lost her heart to evil. It's at this time she first crossed blades with her lover and worst foe, Redsorrow.

* ''Pardallion, the Azure Wind - The World's Greatest Lover!'' - The issue here is that she doesn't really try. Some bards regard it as almost a joke, but Pardallion has incredibly bad and good luck in finding lovers. She has the sexual mores of an alleycat, which has put off kings and knights from pursuing her, but has also been in passionate romances, intrigues, and blood-soaked fueds over dead lovers. During her younger days, she spent 5 years in the Underdark pursuing High Matriarch Adalass, who literally flayed her lover Alaston, a Drow man whom she had a fierce romance with, to death.

* ''Pardallion, the Azure Wind - The World's Biggest Heart!'' - Pardallion could give a rat's ass less about building empires or scheming for power. She's more interested in seeing beautiful things, living an exciting life, and seeing that people are happy and well fed. She's been known to go an epic quests simply because children were crying. Heavens forbid you're a tyrant of any kind - evil priest of Bane or a pimp - Pardie will punish you, from knocking your teeth out to disintegrating you.

* ''Pardallion, the Azure Wind - The World's Greatest Leader!'' - She also downplays this too, but Pardallion actually has a remarkable talent for diplomacy, statecraft and resolving differences, such as when she resolved the 300 years war between the Orc kingdomn of Marhosa and the Elven confederacy of Dalash.

Here are some of Pardallion's other accomplishments -

* Holding the line at the battle of Dalgas pass, where she and her blade were the only things holding back the armies of Tolan Kas, the Red Herald of Asmodeous

* Recovering the lost tome of Ulan Shas, rediscovering the connection between blade magic and wizardry. For this, Pardallion the Azure Wind finally forced the Heirophants of Ul to admit that the Azure Wind and other related Swordmage schools were legitimate magic styles, and to introduce Blade Wizardry into their academy's curricula.

* Winning the heart and refusing the hand Lord Summersky, Eladrin master of the castle of dawn. "I'll always love you, but I have a husband, I carry him on my back."

* Donating an entire Dragon Horde to save the starving nation of Elissus from the 5 year famine. "What was I going to do? What do I need a castle for?"

Martinae had been poisoned by the Drow household of Venomweb, whom Martinae had stopped in their wicked surface plots. The house is now a wrecked ruin, their compound in the Underdark now a blasted crater, courtesy of the Azure Blade when she lead 7th Stoutheart Legion during that harrowing Underdark battle under the 7 Hills of Al Kulas, saving the Sapphire Empire's capital.

So, now, Pardallion feels the weight of ages on her shoulders. While by no means done adventuring or improving her art, she seeks a worthy heir. While both she and her mother-mistress Martinae had left many gymnasiums and studios, and the Azure Wind school of Assault Swordmage technique is now taught around the world, she wishes for her mistress' legacy to continue, as a generations long worship-act to the Goddess of Blades.

* ''Pardallion’s recent partnership with the Inwyt Son of Shadow has left the thief utterly bemused, especially considering the circumstances of their meeting. He somewhat uncomfortable with Pardallion’s forthrightness -- “...having a conversation with her is rather like looking into the sun; and it ends in tears just as often,” as he puts it -- and even more so with the realization that she’s someone that he can trust. Haven’t been many people like that in his past.''

He somewhat uncomfortable with Pardallion’s forthrightness -- “...having a conversation with her is rather like looking into the sun; and it ends in tears just as often.” -- and even more so with the realization that she’s someone that he can trust. Haven’t been many people like that in his past.''

== History ==

*'''Lilybloom was born in beauty and light.''' The child of royalty in the pixie kingdom of Moondrops and Morning Dew, on the edge of the demesne of Senaliesse in the Feywild, Lilybloom lived her early life in comfort and wonder. The young princess was well loved by her people for her quick wits and radiant smile; Though like most of the pixie kingdoms that dot the forests of that plane, hers was not a large country by the standards of the other fey, it was no less her entire world in her youth than it would have been for a mortal princess.

*'''She served, as her people do, in tasks of making the Feywild shine.''' Like other pixies, the people of the Kingdom of Moondrops were tasked with the daily work of maintaining their world. An active princess, Lilybloom joined her subjects in their labors, and became enamored with the process; every flower she made bloom, every bit of dew spread ''just so'' along a leaf, was another step in making the world around her more beautiful. It was not long before the simple fulfillment of the tasks that were put before her was not enough; she added additional color and flair to the process, resulting in her kingdom becoming even brighter, more colorful, and more beautiful than any of those around it. But she was unsatisfied with perfecting only one small corner of the Feywild, and so . . .

*'''She sought the cities of the Eladrin, learning from the archwizards of Astrazalian the magic she would need to work her art upon the world.''' The haughty nobles of that city were unimpressed by her royal credentials from some rural fiefdom, and it was only through sheer persistance that she eventually secured tutelage from the master illusionist Tirisana, in exchange for a period of service to the eladrin as her familiar. Not too proud for this arrangement, Lilybloom agreed, and performed her tasks with enthusiasm and precision, all the while quietly observing the archmage in her practice. When the time came for her to become a proper apprentice, the pixie raced to full magus status in record time, for she had already learned more than most students do in years of study simply from watching. The two parted amiably upon the completion of her training, and she set out to put her skills into practice.

*'''LIlybloom travelled the Feywild, putting her skills to work and having ADVENTURES.''' She smuggled supplies under the bellies of golden-fleeced sheep to Shinaelestra, fooling the formorians besieging it into taking their wool as the prize. She negotiated a peace agreement between a group of satyrs and the dryads who objected to the satyrs' revels within their groves that led to several successful courtships between the two sides. She rescued a clutch of owlbear eggs from a gang of marauding spriggans, setting up a stable population of the creatures within her kingdom that remain her loyal supporters to this day. She arranged a series of tricks and pranks that led to a tribe of cyclopses drawing their masters into a protracted and costly war with another group of Unseelie that weakened both sides to the point where the other Courts were able to reclaim a bit more of the Feywild for the forces of light. She helped remodel a section of Senaliesse until it was so beautiful that even nymphs wept from joy upon seeing it. She led a group of faerie dragons into battle against the Goblin Kingdom; one of their number was so impressed with her that he swore to serve her as a familiar for so long as she desired. And many other deeds, too numerous to list.

*'''Impressed with the princess' deeds, Summer Queen Tiandra invited her to return to Senaliesse to serve on her court.''' One does not perform such acts in a world such as the Feywild where narrative weight has literal metaphysical importance without attracting notice, and Lilybloom was honored by the Summer Queen's attention. At Tiandra's request, she at last swore her first oaths of service to the great Courts, first to the Summer Court, but also to the Court of Stars, where she became one of the Summer Queen's attendants and advisers. While at first the relatively static nature of the latter offended her desire for universal improvement, it was here she was introduced to the myriad songs of world, and to the history of the Court itself. Drawing on this new knowledge, she came to grasp the subtleties of the Court, and through song and art, she began to take a more active roll in trying to shape its present and its future destiny. She emerged then as one of the most consistent voices within the Court against the machinations of the Winter Court, taking every opportunity to promote the ideals of the Summer Court. But the Court of the Stars has interests beyond only the Feywild, and so . . .

*'''In service of the Court of the Stars, Lilybloom journeyed to the mortal realm, finding it in even more dire need of greater beauty than her home.''' Her time in the mortal realm had an enormous impact on the pixie princess. While there were things in the Feywild that were merely imperfect, or that were grand in ways that simply offended her aesthetic sense, the mortal world was dingy and broken. Its people lived lives that were so short that they were almost inconceivable to her, and their world had seen so much pain in so short a time that her heart broke just to see it. And so when her tasks in the realm of Men ended, she returned to the Court and requested of Tiandra that she be allowed to swear a new oath, becoming a Shiradi of Beauty and Laughter, a champion of those aspects across not only her own plane but every other.

*'''Unsatisfied with the limited scale of her efforts there, she began to experiment with grander magics . . .''' A new oath was not her only step, however; while her previous magics had been fundamentally about changing the world around her or the perceptions of others (which, to her mind, is the same thing), her new practices led her to consider creation as well. After all, if this world is flawed in ways that make it impossible for see the true beauty in all things, then what else is there to do but create a new one where that beauty is natural law? In her own little pocket of reality, the seeds of Lilybloom's dreams have been planted; now, her efforts are directed towards ensuring that, in time, they will blossom into the world that has always existed in her heart.

==Character Ties==
* '''''Lilybloom taught Pardallion, the Azure Wind, how to love.''' When the World's Greatest Swordswoman (who was not that, then) visited the Feywild on an adventure to seek the Seed of Hope, she and King Summersky fell madly in love with each other. However, such love would have destroyed the young hero. Lilybloom taught her the gentle art of Love With No Regrets, so that instead of Lord Summersky having yet another failed romance and another heroine destroyed, the two departed each other as dear, affectionate lovers and friends. Glitterwing's clutchmate, Skysparkle, is Pardallion's arcane familiar as well, and both drakes are known for their sense of humor. This began a string of several epic ADVENTURES that Lilybloom and Pardallion engaged on. Pardie calls Lily her 'little sister', meaning that, literally.''
*''Lillybloom tricked Inwyt Son of Shadow into a scheme that was, even by that thief's rarefied standards, entirely mad. It involved obtaining a needle, which was hidden in an egg, which was inside a duck, which was inside a hare, which was inside an iron chest, which was inside a dragon, which was coiled around an oak tree, which was.... Well. Things ended well, if messily, and Inwyt walked away with a bag full of astral diamonds that turned out, upon closer inspection, to be made out of ice. In retrospect, he considers the whole of the experience to have been more than sufficient payment.''

==Appearance==

Even by pixie standards, Lilybloom is tiny, standing only six inches high; in fact, her fairy dragonling familiar/attendant Glitterwing is almost twice her size. But few people notice, for the little fairy has more than enough spunk and confidence to make up for her small stature; she's royalty in several ways, and she acts the part. The fact that she usually rides in style atop the elaborate headdress of her owlbear manservant Monsieur Owlbert Wintersong Loratio Bearnard Esteban Antillion Renfeld the Third (or "Jeeves," for short) certainly helps, of course.

Lilybloom dresses to match her station; her glorious enchanted robes woven from solid moonlight would not be out of place in the galas of the Summer Court (in fact, she's won Best Dressed at the Grand Promenade thirty years running!), and her golden hair hangs in long and luxurious curls, framing an almost child-like face. Her eyes share the same color, and shine like pools of coalesced hopes and dreams. Her wings are delicate and curved like a butterfly's, and sparkle in the light like blue diamonds. All told, she's like an incarnation of everything beautiful in the Feywild.

Her magical implement of choice is a colorful paintbrush, comically large in her hands, from which drips a rainbow pigment, made from actual rainbows.

== History ==
* Inwyt never knew his parents; he grew up in an orphanage, in the shadowed city of Tal Talehendra, from which he escaped at a tender age. He spent his formative years on the streets, stealing just enough to keep himself alive...and in the process, slowly evolved into a master pick-pocket.
* He gained a reputation, rivals, and more than a few enemies as he grew older, and became increasingly daring in his thefts. But Inwyt's career ended when he made a very foolish bet, and tried to steal the crown of the Grey Eminence who ruled Tal Talahendra. Things went…badly, and Inwyt had to flee the Shadowfell entirely, for the relative safety of the World of Men.
* It came as a revelation to him, this new realm. Inwyt was amazed by how slow and stupid the humans seemed, and for the first time he discovered the joy of stealing for the challenge of it, rather than mere survival.
* As the years passed, Inwyt became an adventurer, joining a band of treasure-seekers who haunted ancient ruins and underground labyrinths. He found a bit of pleasure in testing his physical skills to their utmost limits, but ultimately decided that grave-robbing was too unsubtle for his tastes.
* But it was during this time that Inwyt met the Lady Beldimn; a warlock in the service of an infernal power that she was too wise to name aloud. Under her tutelage, Inwyt learned some of the secrets of magic, and how they might be used by a man of his profession.
* The two became increasingly close, and it was with his beloved Beldimn by his side that Inwyt made some of his most legendary thefts.
** With her help, Inwyt recovered the Library of Glass from the ruins of Bael Turath, sold it to the Storm Giant who called himself the King of Winter, and then the two stole it back when they discovered that they’d been cheated. Along with the Library, Inwyt stole the King’s shadow, which he then had made into a pair of cloaks. One for each of them.
** Only a few months later, Inwyt first met, and made an enemy of, the “master thief” who called himself Quickfingers. The two clashed again and again over the years, until an affronted Inwyt ended their rivalry by stealing Quickfingers’ own hand. With Beldimn’s aid Inwyt worked his arts upon it, and made the hand into his familiar. It took nearly a week for Quickfingers to realize the damned thing was missing, too.
** Beldimn and Inwyt managed to steal all eight of the Eyes Unblinking from the Black Icon of Lolth, in the deepest part of Menzoberranzan. Getting away with the Eyes, though? That proved far more difficult.
* It was a good death, as such things go. Beldimn took a number of Drow with her, in the end, and Inwyt was able to escape with the Eyes...and, far more importantly, Beldimn’s corpse. He called in some favors, spent a lot of long-hoarded gold, and prepared to welcome his love back to life.
* Alas, her patron had no intention of releasing her. Too useful, a soul like that. The ritual failed, and Inwyt? He went a little mad, for a time.
* Inwyt has little memory of those years that followed, of wandering the worlds and throwing himself into increasingly foolhardy schemes. He gained some new scars, some new enemies, and eventually? Resolve.
* An archdevil had his beloved’s soul. Clearly, all Inwyt needed to do was steal it back…and to be sure damned sure that this time, she would keep it. Certainly, a soul wouldn’t be the most unlikely thing that he’d ever stolen. Immortality, though?
* That was something new. And for the first time in far too long, Inwyt felt the thrill of contemplating a ''challenge''.
* ''Inwyt met Pardallion when the Swordmage was locked in her struggle against the Venomweb sect of assassins. They first properly met when that house of Assassins commissioned Inwyt to steal her *sword*. Inwyt was of course successful, and when the Azure Wind felt her Swordbond shatter, she was incensed. However, when the two were in a cell, bound by webs and ready to be sacrified by the heretical Drow sect, Inwyt and she made a deal - if Inwyt to were undo the rune which blocked Pardallion's swordbond, they'd both break out. So, one destroyed temple later, Pardallion and Inwyt began a somewhat strained by rock solid relationship as adventuring partners.'''
* ''When Inwyt started researching how best to enter this faraway hell to rescue his beloved at the University of Uln, Pardallion was there, holding the book in her hands. "You want to rescue your beloved? Shit, I'm in.''

==Appearance==
'''Height:''' 5’11”
'''Weight:''' 120 lbs.
Inwyt is not a prepossessing sight, which is just as he likes it. He’s skinny, almost emaciated in appearance, with long, slender fingers that are in almost constant motion. His face is dominated by a beak-like nose that he’s actually rather sensitive about; insulting his nose is the quickest way to rouse his anger.
Beldimn, for the record, considered it his best feature. This says more about the rest of his face than it does about his nose, really.
Inwyt tends to dress in very deep shades of blue and green, considering the traditional black a sure sign of an amateur. Only his cloak, woven quite literally from shadows, is a pure black. He favors hoods, or wide-brimmed hats, to hide his features
If he’s trying to be subtle, Inwyt keeps his familiar Quickfingers hidden. If not, the severed hand perches upon his shoulder, unnerving all who see it.

* Autumn was born into a mixed trading town of humans, elves and shifters on the border of one of the great forests. Had Fate not intervened, she probably would have become a hunter/trapper like her parents.
* The town was invaded and nearly destroyed by an army of undead, raised by an ambitious necromancer. They razed the town and killed nearly everyone, including Autumn's family. She escaped, and with a handful of other refugees made it to the dubious safety of the city. There, young Autumn grew up, not quite on the streets, but close. Many of the refugees turned to religion to help them cope, and Autumn was no different, but unlike many of her fellows, she found kinship in the Raven Queen's temples, rather than Pelor's. Despite her devotion, she didn't have quite the right mindset for the priesthood. Instead, she was directed to a monastery dedicated to training avengers for the Raven Queen by a mysterious figure she is convinced was an aspect of the Raven Queen herself.
* Her first goal when she finished her training was to hunt down the necromancer who'd killed her family. She tried to take him on by herself at first, and only just escaped with her life. She tried again, years later with more experience under her belt and a group of fellow adventurers to help out and managed to take him down.
* Since then, she's made her legend as a hunter and slayer of undead, sometimes alone, usually with companions. Her devotion to the Raven Queen has grown alongside her own personal legend. Though she's had no personal interaction with the deity, she firmly believes her destiny lies as a true servant of that great goddess. She's no longer the only one saying so either.

==Character Ties==
* ''Among the hunts Autumn performed was a strike against the vampire lord Zurostes, during which she consulted with the pixie Lilybloom about the target, who was also a warlock in service of the Winter Court.'' Lilybloom was deeply moved by Autumn's story, and accompanied the shifter on her final assault, helping her to evade the vampire's defenses and distracting his minions with her illusions while Autumn laid him low. Although the devoted avenger and somewhat flighty fey were something of an odd pairing, Lilybloom retains a personal fondness for Autumn, partly because of her racial affinity for animals makes her naturally positively inclined towards shifters, although her tendency to occasionally accidentally treat the shifter similarly to the way she would one of the large, intelligent cats found in the Feywild was a source of some annoyance to the avenger.
*''One of the recruits Autumn found for her assault upon her necromantic foe was the thief known as Inwyt Son of Shadow; he found a way past the necromancer's intricate defenses, and enabled the team to strike directly at the heart of the monster's lair. It was, he later declared, great fun. He still talks about the fourth lock upon the Ivory Cenotaph, and the devilishly fiendish trap that nearly took his fingers. "Even so," Inwyt he adds, "Cracking that lock was a far sight easier than getting that Autumn lass to crack a smile. Grimmer than the Reaper she was, and twice as deadly. Not that I ever stopped trying, of course. I think that I saw her lip twitch once, and that? That was a sweet victory indeed.''

== History ==

==Appearance==
'''Height:''' 5’11”
