==Description==

The Chancel of Ardua Chronochthon, known as the River of Time, is unusual even for the Chancel of a Wildlord. Its dominant feature is the eponymous River; it glows with its own pale blue light, and the continuous roaring sound it gives forth seems deafening at first. The River's vast roar is not due to some great waterfall or rapids, it is instead due to the fact that its banks are separated not by a flow of water, but by a continuous stream of moments. Reaching into the River, one finds that its contents are more like infinitesimal beads of glass than like water; each speck is a moment, an instant of time in somehow solidified form.

The River of Time, in the region most choose to visit, is dominated by a vast city constructed mainly of what appears to be translucent glass with a faint blue color. Numerous towers and vast, mysterious edifices create a striking skyline whose center is over the River itself. A bridge so titanic as to beggar the word stretches over the River, with an array of strange buildings sitting atop it. Lesser bridges to an assortment of islands form a web between the great span and the banks of the River. Some of the islands are utterly barren rocks; others possess structures on them whose apparent origins would baffle and astound an Earthly historian. Docks have been constructed on some of these islands, as well as on the shores of the River, to service the great vessels that wander up- and down-stream, casting great nets into the River for the purpose of, well, who can say?
===Anchors===
None as yet.

==Appearance==

Having decided that he's visible, he needs one of these! He's a white, balding, clean-shaven and brown-haired man whose face is starting to show faint frown lines, wearing a moderately nice suit at game start. He's in fairly good shape, but a sedentary life is beginning to result in a bit of a belly.

==History==
Grew up in the US. Had a passionate interest in history as a child, got into college, took a couple courses, and bailed because all the history he was learning about was people dying in terrible ways as the result of idiotic mistakes by corrupt people.

He switched majors into business (which he finds completely dull) - his parents felt he was stupid for going into history anyway - and started reading fantasy novels.. and found himself especially interested in Tolkien's work; he's tried his hand at writing and especially at world-building, but has never had the courage to show anyone anything he's produced. He has, in short, retained the passion for history.. but only for histories that never were, because they don't break his heart.

He's since graduated and has spent the years advancing into the business world - he's now 35, for the record - and has spent the time concealing his nature from pretty much everyone. He's had a few relationships, but they've never gotten very far because any similarity to the kinds of people he meets is a facade. He's just another stuffed-shirt middle manager as far as everybody he deals with knows.

==Personality==
He's spent years and years trying to be as mundane and corporate as possible. He has a pretty pessimistic worldview, doesn't have a very high opinion of people, and has viewed most of his adult life as a struggle to get along in a world that's going nowhere he likes. Most of his mental, emotional, and spiritual life has been lived silently, inside his head.

And he's now bound to the code of the Wild; his dreams demand it. This should be fun..

==Estate==
Has been narrowed to events in the past, as opposed to records of those events.<br>
Generally takes effect the action after it's executed.<br>
* Ghost Miracle: Make something from the past appear/be audible.
* Lesser Preservation: 'Lock' the outcome of an event. The roulette wheel lands on 23 again. And again. However it was once is how it's going to stay. A preserved event will not be forgotten by anyone. Ignore hunger for a while by the same reasoning.
* Lesser Divination: Obtain the complete history of something - who has used this locker? , scry by looking half a second into the past
* Lesser Creation: Spot additions to history. Call a driver 20 minutes ago to deliver a car now.
* Lesser Destruction: Lock a single person/object/event into stasis by destroying their ability to accumulate history. Destroy things that have been of no consequence in the past; the wooden board bridging two buildings that nobody has used yet, for example.
* Major Divination: Obtain perfect information about a situation, extrapolate the immediate future - predict a roulette wheel. Examine every choice someone has ever made to divine their character. Work through the complete history of every person who has ever been in a place to find a single desired fact - who stole something, I don't even know what, from this locker?
* Major Preservation: Large-scale lesser preservations. An entire city has the same traffic jam every day. A preserved event will not be forgotten by anyone, nor will any written account of it fail to be true, and any attempt to lie will be opposed by this miracle. Confer immortality, sleeplessness, lack of need for food, etc.
* Lesser Change: Spot changes to history. Directly cause the driver to have not fallen asleep 20 minutes ago so that he can get the car. Risks DA.
* Major Creation: Major additions to history. Seriously risks DA unless applied with subtlety.
* Major Destruction: Delete a single person. Lock an entire area into stasis.
* Major Change: Rewrite major portions of history. Good luch with DA on that. Warp what history means, with effects like locking an area into a time loop.

==Notes==
* Domain is more specifically the past, not written record.
* Intangibility means that his Aspect is only useful at all for mental/social/other-such actions. He can acquire Anchors by using Domain miracles to create blood or tears, but starts with none.
* Still need to come up with the specific condition for immortality. Making him physically manifest should likely be part of that.
* One goal is to acquire the Virtue Hopeful - does (would) not and refuses to consider believing that any cause is defeated beyond all hope.
* The intangibility is in fact because he exists a sliver of a second in the past. For reasons made of handwaving, he's visible.. but without Domain none of his actions affect anything, since the past is immutable.

==Personality==

==Estate==
Has been narrowed to events in the past, as opposed to records of those events.
* Ghost Miracle: Make something from the past appear.
* More goes here, getting the rest of this formatted.

==Notes==

Appearance:
Having decided that he's visible, he needs one of these! He's a white, balding, clean-shaven and brown-haired man whose face is starting to show faint frown lines, wearing a moderately nice suit at game start. He's in fairly good shape, but a sedentary life is beginning to result in a bit of a belly.

Thoughts on Estate:
Has been narrowed to events in the past, as opposed to records of those events.
It's worth noting that even the smallest fraction of a second in the past is still the past.
I'm assuming that minor retroactive meddling merely causes humans confusion. Annihilating someone's personal history
Minor/Major Divinations - Trivially obvious applications, plus spy on distant events by learning their history as it's created, find temporal anomalies, (major) examine a million hypothetical histories to make an extraordinarily informed guess about some mortal's next action..
Lesser Creation: Conjure things that have been.
Major Changes: Alter distant past events, or more recent events with large-scale effects and have all their consequences be true. Lock a region into a time loop or temporal stasis (thus changing the nature of History itself, to not function or function bizarrely).
