He&#039;s been assigned formally as an occult analyst to the group of agents, but he knows he won&#039;t be able to just hang back and not lend a hand. Of course, this team was one that showed a lot of potential, and one where he wouldn&#039;t have to do much in terms of heavy lifting.&lt;br /&gt;

:Member of the Knights of Dawn (Reputation, 1965): While the Star Chamber doesn&#039;t give formal nicknames for one-off squads, a group of experienced agents, all nearing retirement age and not being sure if they&#039;ll be able to work together. They decided to get matching tattoos of a shield with a sunburst breaking the edges of the shield.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
:It was a raid on a rampaging vampire cult, one leaving human bodies in gory ritual. The raid was seven agents, with Rudy&#039;s close colleague Anton taking the lead. The sides were not even, but with the help of time of day and being much better equipped, the Knights were victorious, but not without costs. Anton had been bitten, taking his own life along with one of the vampires with garlic buckshot at point blank. Two others, Minnie and Ray, were maimed in the fighting. Even those without permanent injuries won&#039;t forget just how hard fought it was.&lt;br /&gt;

Megalopolis. Not the first place I settled down, but definitely the last one before here. Built out of the shell of a bigger city from the old times. They say you can find whatever you want there, if you&#039;ve got the jingle, the time and the friends. Made a lot of friends. Made even more enemies. You kill or capture enough people, your name starts to spread. People come out of the walls for revenge, maybe to make a name for themselves. I lost some walls that way. Friends too. Eventually, one of those enemies ends up being bigger than you can deal with.&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;

So you take a few days ride through the flats, heading due east. That&#039;s how you get here at least. My friends, the ones that were still alive? They went every way but east. I&#039;ve heard all sorts. Massive bands of raiders, something bigger than anything on this side of the Divide. Weird experimental beasts made for war. Another bigger force, just like them, fighting over who gets to be the big badasses of the New World. Some people even think it&#039;s some sort of disease that they&#039;ve got scientists working on. You hear a lot of things, and it&#039;s hard figuring out which one&#039;s right.&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;

Whatever&#039;s over there, though, it gives birth to some big motherfuckers. Was driving by some sort of radio tower or whatever that the Division was holding onto, keeping decent distance but using them as a bit of cover from the raiders. All of a sudden, a pair of.. I&#039;d call &#039;em men but I&#039;m not even sure. Walked upright but definitely bigger than the average person. Mobile stacks of meat and muscle tearing through their defenses. I didn&#039;t stick around to help, because no one asked for it, but they definitely left an impression. The Division still has the tower, but I couldn&#039;t tell you how many they lost.&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;

The first time I saw Aspen. He was doing his usual preaching or whatever he wants to call it. Just looked like some older man shouting nonsense for a second. Looked straight into my eyes. Saw him get lost in them, like he was seeing whatever was inside me. Still don&#039;t know exactly what he saw, but since then, I haven&#039;t trusted him. Not that I think he&#039;s lying about who he is, just that I think someone who can do that ain&#039;t gonna keep to just quietly searching others without trying to use that. Not even sure I want to know what he saw.&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;

&#039;&#039;What He Saw:&#039;&#039; A lioness in a makeshift jungle, the green mixed with red and orange of fire. The constant forward motion, keeping the darkness at bay but never leaving it behind. Whether the darkness is following or chasing isn&#039;t clear. The view in front changes between prey and other predators, the dead getting burned up instantly. The dream ends with the lioness standing alone, unsure, before starting again.&lt;/div&gt;</summary>

Megalopolis. Not the first place I settled down, but definitely the last one before here. Built out of the shell of a bigger city from the old times. They say you can find whatever you want there, if you&#039;ve got the jingle, the time and the friends. Made a lot of friends. Made even more enemies. You kill or capture enough people, your name starts to spread. People come out of the walls for revenge, maybe to make a name for themselves. I lost some walls that way. Friends too. Megalopolis. Not the first place I settled down, but definitely the last one before here. Built out of the shell of a bigger city from the old times. They say you can find whatever you want there, if you&#039;ve got the jingle, the time and the friends. Made a lot of friends. Made even more enemies. You kill or capture enough people, your name starts to spread. People come out of the walls for revenge, maybe to make a name for themselves. I lost some walls that way. Friends too. Eventually, one of those enemies ends up being bigger than you can deal with.&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;

So you take a few days ride through the flats, heading due east. That&#039;s how you get here at least. My friends, the ones that were still alive? They went every way but east. Not that we&#039;re not friends, just safer that way. Where I am, trouble seems to follow.&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;

I&#039;ve heard all sorts. Massive bands of raiders, something bigger than anything on this side of the Divide. Weird experimental beasts made for war. Another bigger force, just like them, fighting over who gets to be the big badasses of the New World. Some people even think it&#039;s some sort of disease that they&#039;ve got scientists working on. You hear a lot of things, and it&#039;s hard figuring out which one&#039;s right.&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;

Whatever&#039;s over there, though, it gives birth to some big motherfuckers. Was driving by some sort of radio tower or whatever that the Division was holding onto, keeping decent distance but using them as a bit of cover from the raiders. All of a sudden, a pair of.. I&#039;d call &#039;em men but I&#039;m not even sure. Walked upright but definitely bigger than the average person. Mobile stacks of meat and muscle tearing through their defenses. I didn&#039;t stick around to help, because no one asked for it, but they definitely left an impression. The Division still has the tower, but I couldn&#039;t tell you how many they lost.&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;

The first time I saw Aspen. He was doing his usual preaching or whatever he wants to call it. Just looked like some older man shouting nonsense for a second. Looked straight into my eyes. Saw him get lost in them, like he was seeing whatever was inside me. Still don&#039;t know exactly what he saw, but since then, I haven&#039;t trusted him. Not that I think he&#039;s lying about who he is, just that I think someone who can do that ain&#039;t gonna keep to just quietly searching others without trying to use that. Not even sure I want to know what he saw.&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;

&#039;&#039;What He Saw:&#039;&#039; A lioness in a makeshift jungle, the green mixed with red and orange of fire. The constant forward motion, keeping the darkness at bay but never leaving it behind. Whether the darkness is following or chasing isn&#039;t clear. The view in front changes between prey and other predators, the dead getting burned up instantly. The dream ends with the lioness standing alone, unsure, before starting again.&lt;/div&gt;</summary>

Due to Morgan&#039;s power relating to Astrology, the &#039;&#039;Open Sky&#039;&#039; allows her to increase the efficiency and potency of her magic.&lt;br /&gt;

&#039;&#039;&#039;Hands That Mend&#039;&#039;&#039;, unlike the spells of magic, are a more mysterious force directly applying from her hands to heal those who she wishes to care for. The major drawback is that it doesn&#039;t function in darkness, which means that it can be difficult to use without forethought.&lt;br /&gt;

==A Day in the Life==&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&#039;&#039;A boy of no more than 8 stands on the top of a metal railing, balancing himself as best as he can. A girl, likely 10, is not paying attention to the boy, instead focused intently on a book in front of her. From the next room, Rebecca takes a step into view of the boy and raises her voice over towards the boy.&#039;&#039;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;quot;Nathaniel! Get off of there!&amp;quot;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&#039;&#039;The surprise on Nathaniel&#039;s face, the sudden turn by the girl and Rebecca knew something would happen. It always does. She was already setting down her books as Nathaniel began to wave his arms, losing his balance and flailing to try to regain it. Without thinking, Rebecca&#039;s hands both move to the right as a gentle force pushes Nathaniel to the side of the girl, and unfortunately for the boy, a sturdy wooden table.&#039;&#039;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;quot;She told you before not to do that.&amp;quot;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;quot;Not now, Elizabeth. Is he alright?&amp;quot; &#039;&#039;Nathaniel&#039;s eyes begin to well up in tears as the pain from the fall kicks into him. Rebecca is already there, trying to comfort the boy. As much as he shouldn&#039;t be climbing up there, has no one else been there, it could have been much worse. Nathaniel&#039;s forehead shows the sign of a gash, one that hasn&#039;t been noticed yet by either of the children. &#039;&#039;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;quot;Don&#039;t worry yourself, Nathaniel. It will be okay. It&#039;s just a scratch.&amp;quot; &#039;&#039;Before either child could think about it too much, Rebecca&#039;s hands are on the wound, which quickly heals under the light of her hand and the sun.&#039;&#039; &amp;quot;Now, I did tell you not to do that. If you want to practice your balance, find a place closer to the ground. Now, we have to get back to arithmetic, unless you want to talk to your parents?&amp;quot;&lt;br /&gt;

He can be overcome by the &#039;&#039;&#039;Barriers of Class,&#039;&#039;&#039; though those specific barriers will vary as he varies the class that he appears to belong to.&lt;br /&gt;

&#039;&#039;&#039;The High Druid&#039;&#039;&#039;, Evelard searches for his lost Circle, as he needs allies for his cause. They are sleeping somewhere in Britain, resting beneath the souls of the men and women of the isles. He confers unto his allies the &#039;&#039;&#039;Traits of Beasts&#039;&#039;&#039;, and his &#039;&#039;&#039;Druidic Magic&#039;&#039;&#039; is most potent &#039;&#039;&#039;Under the Open Sky&#039;&#039;&#039;, but his undoing is his &#039;&#039;&#039;Inscrutability&#039;&#039;&#039;; when his schemes and devices are too convoluted and opaque, he loses the trust of his allies and his powers work against him.&lt;br /&gt;

A few days, perhaps. A week would be too long. But the Club needed to know what was happening in the Blue Forest before they could allow any diplomatic action to be taken.&#039;&#039; &lt;br /&gt;

&#039;&#039;His name would get him into the ball, but it would not grant him access to the inner chambers where the Duke&#039;s advisors would gather. For that, he would need to adopt the face of Viscount Tremaine, and that would require a bit of derring-do to get the Viscount alone in the sitting room where Evelard&#039;s accomplice both waited and would stand watch. It wasn&#039;t going to be an impossible evening, but by the Oak it would be a viper&#039;s nest. He wasn&#039;t certain of the number of agents from the Nations Seen and Unseen who would be in attendance on this Solstice Moon, each seeking to influence the course of modern events.
