Svar was born into a small family of wandering dwarves who from the Grey Mountains who lost their homes to the incursions of creatures of the Shadow. As he has grown older, in the course of their travels and occasional journeys back to their ancestral homeland, time and encounters with danger have resulted in Svar being the only one left in his family. This has pushed him to move more from trading to seeking out and trying to end the menace of the Shadow when he can. He still takes part in trading and using his craft skills to support himself, as he still needs to eat. With this change in his life, he has traveled to answer Saruman&#039;s call. He has wandered far, but still carries the viol he inherited from his father that he plays when he can. The weight of his experiences shows in his lean frame for a dwarf, and the grey that already shoots through his dark brown hair and beard.&lt;/div&gt;</summary>

Cynewulf is the second son of Cyneric, a Barding river merchant. Once, their&#039;s was a lineage of proud warriors but the coming of the Dragon burned all that to nothing. Their ancestor, Aethgar, changed the family fortunes to merchantry and they forgot the sword, turning their hand to the tiller. When the call to arms for what is now known as the Battle of Five Armies was sounded, though, the descendants of Aethgar did not deny it except Cynewulf, who stayed behind to tend the ships. That day, his older brother Aethelred fell to orcish arrows. Cynewulf held himself responsible and took up a place in Bard&#039;s service to discharge his honour. Amongst the Bardings he is counted as a honourable if overly driven warrior, a reliable fellow in the shield wall but best avoided outside of that. Cynewulf is not a learned man but he has bent himself to understanding everything he can about his enemy.&lt;br /&gt;

Svar was born into a smll family of wandering dwarves who from the Grey Mountains who lost their homes to the incursions of creatures of the Shadow. As he has grown older, in the course of their travels and occasional journeys back to their ancestral homeland, time and encounters with danger have resulted in Svar being the only one left in his family. This has pushed him to move more from trading to seeking out and trying to end the menace of the Shadow when he can. He still takes part in trading and using his craft skills to support himself, as he still needs to eat. With this change in his life, he has traveled to answer Saruman&#039;s call. He has wandered far, but still carries the viol he inherited from his father that he plays when he can. The weight of his experiences shows in his lean frame for a dwarf, and the grey that already shoots through his dark brown hair and beard.&lt;/div&gt;</summary>

By the time the agent of Saruman the White arrived at Will Burrows&#039; door, it only took a nudge to get him packing for an adventure.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Will was born to a well-off family of landed gentry, and he grew up hearing the rumours about his ancestor&#039;s unseemly, &amp;quot;adventurous&amp;quot; behaviour. His family&#039;s money afforded him enough leisure time to indulge his bookish nature. He would frequently travel through the shire from his home in Michel Delving, to Tuckborough, Hobbiton, even as far as Stock, borrowing more books to absorb, frequently over a pint and a pipe at the Green Dragon. He had even started writing his own original material, based on correlating the various bit of information he had read.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Then Bilbo Baggins came back home with tales of adventure, of trolls, elves, and orcs. Some scoffed at his stories, but when Will weighed the words and the hobbit that spoke them, he knew he was speaking honestly. In any event, it was clear something had happened to Bilbo; anyone could see he wasn&#039;t the same. After one evening of conversation with Bilbo at the Green Dragon, Will&#039;s knew he had to go further if he was to get the knowledge he craved. The next day he headed out to Stock, to spend time in the Golden Perch looking for a merchant heading to Bree, one who would take Will along for a fee. Surely there had to be books available there which were unheard of in the Shire.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
It was the morning after he returned from one such trip that an agent of Saruman the White knocked on Will&#039;s door. Over tea, the agent told Will that Saruman had need of him. Will was confused, overwhelmed, and thought of the other hobbit who had run off after a wizard, and the change that had come over him as a result. The agent poured more tea, and spoke to Will glowingly about the skills he had to offer, the knowledge he may uncover in the course of his work, and subtly hinted without hinting that a wizard such as Saruman the White would know uncountable ancient secrets which he may choose to pass along to someone who served him faithfully.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Will spent the evening packing up for a journey, starting with his wooden flute in it&#039;s case, his favourite pipes and his pouches of Longbottom Leaf, Old Toby, and Southern Star, paper, quill and ink, then moving on to less important items.&lt;/div&gt;</summary>

He feels he has learned as much as he can in the austere libraries of the Kingdom of Thraunduil, and has taken it upon himself to venture out into the world in search of more knowledge. Perhaps because of Thraunduil&#039;s isolationism, Syn finds it more important than ever to gather knowledge beyond the halls of the Mirkwood King. Perhaps he can bring something back that will bolster their defenses, or bring hope and trust back to his increasingly xenophobic people. In the meantime, many of his people have shunned him, and while his noble blood is recognized, it is looked at with pity and a little disdain.&lt;br /&gt;

By the time the agent of Saruman the White arrived at Will Burrows&#039; door, it only took a nudge to get him packing for an adventure.&lt;br /&gt;

Will was born to a well-off family of landed gentry, and he grew up hearing the rumours about his ancestor&#039;s unseemly, &amp;quot;adventurous&amp;quot; behaviour. His family&#039;s money afforded him enough leisure time to indulge his bookish nature. He would frequently travel through the shire from his home in Michel Delving, to Tuckborough, Hobbiton, even as far as Stock, borrowing more books to absorb, frequently over a pint and a pipe at the Green Dragon. He had even started writing his own original material, based on correlating the various bit of information he had read.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Then Bilbo Baggins came back home with tales of adventure, of trolls, elves, and orcs. Some scoffed at his stories, but when Will weighed the words and the hobbit that spoke them, he knew he was speaking honestly. In any event, it was clear something had happened to Bilbo; anyone could see he wasn&#039;t the same. After one evening of conversation with Bilbo at the Green Dragon, Will&#039;s knew he had to go further if he was to get the knowledge he craved. The next day he headed out to Stock, to spend time in the Golden Perch looking for a merchant heading to Bree, one who would take Will along for a fee. Surely there had to be books available there which were unheard of in the Shire.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
It was the morning after he returned from one such trip that an agent of Saruman the White knocked on Will&#039;s door. Over tea, the agent told Will that Saruman had need of him. Will was confused, overwhelmed, and thought of the other hobbit who had run off after a wizard, and the change that had come over him as a result. The agent poured more tea, and spoke to Will glowingly about the skills he had to offer, the knowledge he may uncover in the course of his work, and subtly hinted without hinting that a wizard such as Saruman the White would know uncountable ancient secrets which he may choose to pass along to someone who served him faithfully.&lt;br /&gt;

The young woman who calls herself &amp;quot;The Fox&amp;quot; is a healer by trade and a wanderer by calling. She used to travel around with her father, also a healer and her teacher, providing assistance to remote farms with injuries, maladies, childbirths, and sickly cattle. After her father succumbed to the plague himself, a result of working with the infected, she continued on her own but quickly realized that the unfamiliar paths hold her interest more than the old ones. Eager to discover and help new people, The Fox ever wanders to new places.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
She has brownish-red hair, hence the name, and alert brown eyes. The many walks in the sun left her face and shoulders with a dusting of freckles. In her young years food was never in abundance, and outright short in winters, leaving her today a thin waif of a girl. But she does bear an axe for protection on the road, which she can use with some proficiency. From her father she also picked up the habit of chewing on herbs - usually anise, mint, mustard seed, or dried lavender flowers - which she does frequently, spitting the chewed-out remains wherever she walks. (Decorum is not her strong suit.) Her broad smile can light up her face, provided she is not currently chewing herbs which stick to her teeth.&lt;/div&gt;</summary>
