(04/11/09 12:26:35) Solitary Talon is seated in a luxurious throne, Silveria balanced on one knee. Lilijana is kneeling obediently to one side, clad in a short shift and purple steelsilk collar.
(04/11/09 12:28:13) Shining Lord approaches stiffly stopping at a respectable distance and bows only very lightly. Over the bond Lilijana can feel his irritation over his bondmate's position.
(04/11/09 12:28:51) Solitary Talon: "Welcome to my abode, Minister. Would you like something to drink?"
(04/11/09 12:29:48) Lilijana smiles at her Bondsmate and adds over the bond "Don't give her the pleasure of seeing you react Beloved, she is just playing one of her games."

(04/11/09 12:33:31) Solitary Talon makes a 'go on' gesture idly, as she beckons a servant to bring her a glass of wine.
(04/11/09 12:35:27) Shining Lord: "My family and my homelands are halfway between Nexus and Sijan, and considering the recent movements of undead in the area I fear for their safety. Thus I wish to bring them back here, where we can construct a new life."

(04/11/09 12:38:24) Lilijana: Your family? That seems a good thing Beloved. This is going to be the safest place on creation for them. The bond carries a sense of affection but also a hint of worry.
(04/11/09 12:41:35) Shining Lord smiles, the bond carries pride as he speaks. "Why, my might and my spells? An infinite repository of power without bounds."
(04/11/09 12:43:51) Solitary Talon: "I'm sure they are." Solitary Talon looks bored. "You do realise that I heard the exact same boast every single day while I lived with Grandmother?"

(04/11/09 12:49:17) Shining Lord: "And to my knowledge you have no-one swearing allegiance to you with sorcerous power."
(04/11/09 12:55:50) Solitary Talon: "I do, actually. Or did you really believe someone with enough wealth to outfit legions out of her pocket money would have no occultists in her service?"
(04/11/09 12:57:00) Lilijana: "Someone with access to Solar Level sorcery, mistress?" Lilijana politely asks.
(04/11/09 12:57:14) Shining Lord: "I'm not talking mere occultists, shamans or thaumaturges. Can your lieges wipe out armies in matter of seconds, can they cleanse the taint of the Underworld forever from the land of creation? I think not."
(04/11/09 13:06:35) Solitary Talon shrugs. "Ah. I see." The sixteen year old pauses. "However, I do not see how either of those would be of benefit to me."
(04/11/09 13:08:27) Shining Lord: "Oh, not now perhaps, but it might in the future. And that is not all I can do, far from it. Say something you wish done, and I'll find a spell for it."

(04/11/09 13:16:50) Solitary Talon shrugs. "Casting spells when I require them, acting as an advisor, stuff like that."
(04/11/09 13:18:23) Shining Lord: "Casting spells is no small business, not something to be done at a whim... at least not for the mere price of a couple of days service of skyships... I would need something more..."
(04/11/09 13:20:06) Solitary Talon smiles wickedly. "Well, I believe Telarreann has taken quite a liking to you..."
(04/11/09 13:21:58) Shining Lord smiles again, a thinner more plotting smile. "Ah... her... no... even though human women ar nice I could have a Neomah instead if such services were what I required... No... Mortal servants are not appropriate either."
(04/11/09 13:22:24) Lilijana looks round at Solitary in surprise then back to Shining. "You did not mention that Beloved. the bond carries no reproach, merely a sense of curiosity
(04/11/09 13:23:25) Solitary Talon shrugs. "I see. In any case, my free servants are treated quite well. Aren't they, Lili?"
(04/11/09 13:24:15) Shining Lord: I can't be at fault for being awesome can I? The bond is filled with humor but his face remains the same. "I did not know she had developed feelings for me."

(04/11/09 13:33:06) Shining Lord: "A difference you need not pay heed to." He returns his bondmate's look with a much milder one, one that does not reflect the bone hard determination beneath.
(04/11/09 13:34:55) Shining Lord: "No, in that case I will give a lot and receive only little. My services as a staff-member bound to the limits of reason for a year for the remainder of my bondmate's service."
(04/11/09 13:37:05) Lilijana: "I do not accept that, Beloved." Lilijana answers hotly. "You can not exchange my term of service like some common commodity." for the moment she ignores Solitary.
(04/11/09 13:38:28) Shining Lord: "It is not you who are the one who are to decide that. It is your local traditions that put you in service to this woman, and in her local tradition one trades with one's servants." His eyes remain fixed on Solitary, eyes mild.

(04/11/09 13:46:42) Lilijana gets up from her position and moves towards Shining. "Please, Beloved do not do this." She reaches out and clasps Shining's hand, trying to meet his gaze. "You would take my honor? I know you mean well but please do not do this."

(04/11/09 13:58:13) Shining Lord: "No matter what you do Lilijana will only serve you for a couple of months, but binding me to be your pet sorcerer for as long as you wish? I hardly call that fair."
(04/11/09 14:01:30) Solitary Talon: "You would be well compensated." The Zenith points out. "And I was also considering asking Lili here to join my staff when her service has been completed."
(04/11/09 14:12:28) Shining Lord: "Agreed, but at any point I will be able to cancel the deal. No offense, but being your servant all my life is not something I look forward too."

(04/11/09 14:16:08) Shining Lord: "I will however petition for one thing already now, Lady Solitary. In the next council meeting there is the business of sending aid to Lookshy, I would wish to join said expedition."

(04/11/09 14:17:05) Shining Lord: "I wish to eradicate the Mask's armies with my own essence..."
(04/11/09 14:20:14) Solitary Talon: "I see." The sixteen year old pauses. "As long as you leave the Mask himself for me, I have no objection to that. I was likely to bring you along anyway."
(04/11/09 14:23:40) Shining Lord: "Of course..." Shining smiles and bows his head, but subtly his grip on his staff tightens and over the bond Lilijana can feel he has no intentions of doing so. "I would petition that I would like to help in that task. The Mask is no mere upstart ghost."
(04/11/09 14:29:14) Lilijana: "How soon will you be able to pick up your family?" Lilijana asks her bondmate. Do you think they will accept living in a city ruled by Anathema? Shining can sense that she really means would they accept her.
(04/11/09 14:32:32) Shining Lord: "Soon. With my sorcery speeding up the fleet we should be there in days, not much time to organize the lands. Perhaps a week in all." They will, the Immaculate faith was never strong back home, we were allied with Lookshy after all... and the rest, I'll persuade them. Don't worry, my mother will like you as soon as she sees you.

"Out of curiosity, I don't suppose you're able to change genders, are you? Lilijana said something about wanting to be with both her loves."

(04/11/09 14:54:00) Lilijana blushes slightly. "I thought it might be fun Beloved, and it might give you a chance to understand Solitary a little better. It might also teach you a few things, I know being the man was a illuminating experience for me.

(04/11/09 14:56:36) Shining Lord looks at Lilijana. The bond filled with confusion, a mixture of several emotions swelling up at the same time. Not... that I mean... loves? Plural? SHE?! Shining can't stop his hand from grasping his forehead.

I did not want to hurt you its just, my people would not see anything wrong with three people enjoying themselves together. she tries to wrap her arms around Shining.
(04/11/09 15:08:06) Solitary Talon: "I see." Solitary Talon finishes rising. "Anyway, we should start moving towards the Council meeting." The Zenith moves to take Lilijana by the hand, before pulling the Lunar into a brief kiss.
(04/11/09 15:17:09) Shining Lord grits his teeth, his hands clenching his staff and Lilijana's other hand, anger, aggression and jealousy storming to the top. His hand raise the staff and for a split second motes prepare to be shaped into sorcery. But before anything happens he calms down.

(04/11/09 15:22:22) Solitary Talon looks bored and begins to pull on Lilijana's hand. "Council meeting, remember? You two can have your little tete-a-tete over the bond along the way."
(04/11/09 15:24:04) Shining Lord releases Lilijana's hand, looking down on the floor as Solitary pulls her away, standing still for a second before he slowly starts walking after.
(04/11/09 15:24:30) Lilijana: I'm sorry Beloved. she allows herself to be pulled along by Solitary, but holds a hand out for Shining. "Yes, Mistress."
(04/11/09 15:28:26) Solitary Talon glances over her shoulder at Shining, releasing Lilijana's hand only to pinch the Lunar gently on one buttock. "You can have her for a couple of hours after the meeting, don't worry."
(04/11/09 15:30:38) Shining Lord does not lift his eyes or otherwise recognize Solitary's words at all. But simply says: "I will see you at the council then." Before he starts disappearing in a twirling golden mist.
