Then we got back Hope and then lost Hope, Capriciousness and Numbers. Then we got a new Urbanization. Then we got Stories. Then we lost Stories and now we've lost Urbanization Mark II.

<Random_Nerd> Electricity and Copper is basically a construct, something like the antikythera mechanism but with leyden jars and vacuum tubes, that Indra decided to make into a Noble.

<Random_Nerd> It wasn't sentient before being ennobled, but one effect of Nobility is that even an inanimate object gets human-level intellegence.

<Random_Nerd> But, yeah, it would be perfectly possible to use Gifts or miracles to manipulate a construct. Or even anchor a snail, if you wanted to.
<Angelo> I was proposing the snail to save on the write of appearance (recycle words for a better worlds)
<Random_Nerd> Using a snail as your vehicle for interacting with the world would be /eccentric/, but it'd fit with the general aesthetic, and it's established that Nobles are often eccentric.

<Random_Nerd> And if it was just a construct you puppeted around, you could move it around with whatever power you use to move it.
<Knockwood> hey, want to hear a possibility that I came up with from looking at the characters?

<Knockwood> OK, imagine if you will...
<Knockwood> For starters: instead of Data Transmission, the 2nd domain is Machinery. The heart of your form is a futuristic data bank housed in a snail-like casing. It has the ability to hover a little bit, mainly to go over to existing machinery and take it over as its body.
<Knockwood> The original form was created by Vulcan, or possibly his Noble Saramir.
<Knockwood> Which would mean you could go over to a junkyard and come out as an instant Transformer. :)
<BethE> (Hmm...at least he's not a slug. Slugs do more damage to plants than snails do.)
<Knockwood> (Granted, pulling that off in 25 points wouuld be a real trick...)
<Angelo> (well I'm not much attached to transmision. I envisioned it as a quick way to send it around but... is a bit much for a character?

<Angelo> and meld well with the imp (I cant remenber the name) theme of everchangig bodies!

<Knockwood> (Though I do like the visual of carrying around a small pl;ate sized metal snail, having it extend an eyestalk to assess the situation, then float over to a junkyard and have a car parts golem walk out. :) )

<BethE> It's your character.  :) I'm pretty much fine with anything within most definitions of the word 'reason'. Then again, you see who I'm married to.  :)

<Knockwood> As for getting the new group together... could always say that the thing with Jaris, the fishmen, the maybe-Domination, the great project and the coming end of the world has made us famous enough that people are coming to join us for the Big Whatever. :)
<BethE> I actually like the art better in the White Book. The Pink Book, the print is very tiny.

<Random_Nerd> Now, it'd be less likely to give MPs when it gets you in trouble. But on the other hand, Dante is already sufficiently good at working with his honesty that it only occasionally gets him in trouble anyway.
