The new complex in Washington, D.C. includes the IMAX theatre, 32 digital screens in stadium seating auditoriums equipped with THX 9.5 speaker Dolby Digital surround sound and two full concession stands. This makes the complex the largest Star Cinema in current use and one of the largest theater systems in the Washington, D.C. area. This is a first for the small Wisconson-based company, which has recently begun to expand and develop after its near collapse only a few months ago. The company shows new hope for the future with this far-ranging expansion into the District of Columbia.
