	Tiv ~~met Susan~~		The meeting itself was a waste of time. Klith just wanted to use Starfleet resources to fund a takeover of a rival House, and cared not at all about the likelihood of outright war resulting from such an action. Admiral Pickering made it abundantly clear that no such arrangement would eve happen. Both parties left disgusted with the result. Hours later, still deep in the Neutral Zone, Susan and Tiv's tiny vessel was struck by a single round of disruptor fire from no identifiable source. Whether this was an attack by Klith in revenge for being refused, by one of his rivals afraid an agreement had been reached, or a stray blast from some entirely unrelated conflict was never determined and was ultimately irrelevant. No matter the source, the fire knocked out the ship's life support and power systems, leaving them in a floating box that would soon become their coffin.
