	The Tap and Spile is an oddly old-fashioned English pub - odd because it's only a couple of years old and its nearest neighbours are the ultra new bars of Broad Street. It is an oasis of tranquillity and charm, however, amidst those temples of yuppiedom and its extensive range of real ales, cider and cheerful grub make it well worth a look.
