:Takahide is a thin and wiry man who looks no stronger than any peasant, if it weren't for the impressive bow on his back or the wakizashi at his side, one might look on him like he were nothing more than a well dressed peasant. His ashigaru armor is lacquered a beautiful sea-weed green with black accents that allow the subtle hunter to fade into the background. He keeps his hair well kept neatly and out of his face, when out hunting he favors a mask of a winking buck. On the street or the rare occasion he's in court Takahide fashions the easily maintained and worn apparel of the Mantis Clan, his house and clan mon displayed boldly on his right shoulder.
