			Count Orlock is one of Strahd Von Zharovich's early creations and has gone on to spawn his own bloodline of debased and horrific looking Vampires. Count Orlock converted to the Blood of Vol religion after he became obsessed with his own mortality during the height of Galifar's reign. He began trafficking with demons and seeking ways to gain immortality from the draining of life-force from other beings. This attracted Strahd to him and he was ordered embraced at the hands of Erandis D'Vol.


			Count Orlock left Karrnath years ago and has been working to spread his 'religion' throughout other lands. He is a devoted disciple of Kazandra and a student of the mystic arts (even if he practices divine magic instead of the arcane). He has numerous associations with demons and devils of various stripes, that make him stronger than a normal vampire.


			Count Orlock is, despite his power, woefully unsuited for spreading the Faith of Vol to the normal populous of the world and keeps it restricted to the outskirts of human civilization. This is partially due to disgust with it and also due to his own degenerating humanity that would make it impossible to associate with regular mortals for any length of time.
