Dan started out his career working for a corporation, which helped pay for his education and training. The corporation needed loyal workers who could get things done...things that weren&amp;#039;t traceable back to the corp. Dan thought the corp was looking to do the right thing, or so he&amp;#039;d been trained. And if that required doing some bad things to accomplish a greater good, than that was a reasonable trade. Eventually, he found too much evidence that suggested that wasn&amp;#039;t the case, and when a particularly nasty piece of work coming along, things ended with an explosion and what looked like a death on a rainy night, and then Dan started over a new life as an undercover officer, trying to actually make things better.&lt;/div&gt;</summary>
