*1. Large wilderness freehold or keep. It's not technically even large enough to be considered a village, but is the largest and most defensible settlement in the area, and is therefore used as a hub for trading. Usually a freehold will house no more than thirty individuals
*2. Hamlet. The settlement consists of between 31 and 75 individuals.
*3. Thorp. The settlement consists of between 76 and 150 individuals.
