===Background===

At the time of the "event" Benjamin was a 14 year old exchange student in Europe, a super genius, but with powers.During the evacuation of the town he was in, just about everyone he was with was massacred by tech zombies, and he was forced to survive using nothing but his brains and scientific and technical knowledge, learning combat tactics from sheer necessity.

When he was 30, Doctor Gigabyte (as he was now calling himself) was captured by the enemy, and they attempted to turn him into one of their own kind. The results were unexpected. Not every conversion "takes". Sometimes, rarely, the subject has a bad reaction to the implants and dies inside. This is expected. What isn't is for the victim to come back...

Doctor Gigabyte has been a ghost for four years now, and is still discovering new powers and abilities. He doesn't know why he came back, but he is determined to make the best use for this second chance
