 Eclipse is an NPC character in the [[Nihao Honey]] campaign setting, in the [[Nihao Honey 2]] subcampaign. She is a student of [[Black Crane High]] and a cousin of [[Iron Seraph]]. She is the child of a Jin Shen woman and a Heaven Sword Clan father, and she has both their strengths to a certain extent.

	The idea of Eclipse started, as many Black Crane students did, with the Naruto manga and anime. The character Hatake Kakashi has an eye with a special ability, although he was not born with it. Rather it was surgecally implanted in him to replace a lost eye. When it became clear that Nihao Honey would feature two seperate but related families that both had special eyes it all clicked into place: there had to be a character who had both. On top of that it also allowed me to use the precious but rare heterochromatac eyes archetype (do an image google for Rozen Maiden to see what I mean). 	My initial ideas of what the character was like didn't survive contact with the players, something that happens often with GM's and me in particular I feel. Eclipse turned from a cool but sweet and caring girl into an opinionated pain in the backside that serves as the personal nemesis of [[Thrice Radiant Ping]]. 	She also serves as the creepy dark side of the Harem anime genre. Although a near direct blood relation to Seraph she has as much a crush on him as the next girl. She just hides it better. ===== Appearance =====

Most important are her eyes, which are red and blue. Aside from that she has short dark hair and the build of a normal teenage girl with regular exercise. She has the air of one who is here to save the world and doesn't appreciate those who get in the way or don't care about it.

The ubiquitous Lightfoot, and mostly Jin Shen styles: Three Kings and Winds of Battle. The Heaven Sword Clan taught her defensive moves of Cloud Mastery.

She'd have been just another brunette face in the crowd if it weren't
for just one little detail: one of her eyes is red and the other is
blue.
Iron Seraph knows more about her, as she's an old childhood friend of
his (all anime need one of those really). She's a weird genetic mixup
from both the Heaven Sword Clan and the Demon Hunters. Her left eye
(red) has the Unsurpassed Sight legacy and came from her father,
whilst the right (blue) has her mother's All-Seeing Eye ability.
