	~~If you look at~~ Heywesh~~'s aspects, you see the three central relationships that define him. His attention~~ is ~~divided~~ between a father he wants approval from (and will likely never get), and a wife he does not desire. On the father side of the equation, it's a matter of choosing when to reject the bravado his father wants and when to try to act in accordance with it. On the wife side, it's a matter of caring for her but without seeing her as an equal at all. Both are dysfunctional~~, and both put demands on him that should conflict eventually~~.		Heywesh is trapped between several dysfunctional relationships.

	~~Then there's~~ the ~~third: he's a Senvu Swordsman. Not just that~~, ~~but he worships a defender of the Law~~. ~~He has taken~~ his ~~sword school~~'s ~~philosophy as his personal ethic~~, one based on loyalty and obligation. This is his escape. He is hoping to escape the previous two relationship's dysfunctions by becoming a saintly swordmaster. This should be the icing on the cake when it ~~comes to putting his motivations into motion~~.		On the one hand, there is his father. Heywesh deeply desires his father's approval, but it does not appear likely that Mxura will ever head in that direction.

	~~At any rate~~, these ~~are my thoughts before play starts~~.		On the other, there is his wife. Heywesh does not merely care for Lura. If that was the case, things would be quite good: a platonic friendship qualifies as relatively functional for Ven marriages. However, Heywesh has confused caring for Lura with controlling her. She is his sweet and innocent possession worthy of protection and happiness (so long as he is the one making her happy).

			As almost an escape from these, Heywesh is a rather idealistic senvu. He has taken his school's philosophy as his personal ethic, and venerates the Suaven of Duels and everything he represents. The problem here is that Ven law is simply not robust enough to be taken as an ideal in and of itself.

			We thus see Heywesh trapped not only by his loved ones, but by his ideals. How he escapes from this, or if he even tries to, will be what makes him tragic. For the Ven, there is no escape.
