	Ichiro was born in the [[Hidden Village of Konoha]] - her parents both died when she was very young (in the events surrounding the battle against the [[Nine~~-Tail~~ Fox]], though the details are unclear). [[Orochimaru]] defeated the fox by sealing it inside of the infant Ran, making her into a [[Jinchuuriki]]. 	Many people of the village can not help but either blaming Ran for what happened and/or being affected by the ominous aura of the caged demon fox, so the girl grew up shunned by almost everyone - alone and, in time, embittered. Since she barely has gotten any decent tutoring in the ninja arts, she has been the very worst student in each of her classes - compensating slightly by her inherited genius for tactics, which by and large hasn´t helped her - most see it only as a penchant for cheating and proof of her bad character! Too desperate to suspect foul play, Ran did so - in the process incapacitating Orochimaru through the use of the dirty tricks of her [[Sexy No Jutsu]] - and only too late learned that Iruka wanted the scroll for the secret resistance set on breaking Orochimaru´s reign! This was not before, though, Ran managed to uncover some of teh scroll´s secret for herself, learning a partial version of [[Death God ~~Summon~~]]! 			(Basic) She is shunned by many, so she is bitter, sarcastic and socially underdeveloped – switches between introvertion and belligerence. She is not a talented student by any means (at least partly due to her being disliked by most teachers, though), so she has developed her own techniques to cheat (what we know is her acute talents for tactics, but that are viewed by most of her peers and superiors simply as “bad character”).
			Bitter, lonely and quietly desperate for companionship.

			Ran is petite – short and thin, with an angular look to her wiry body. Being socially insecure, she tends to wear a large hoodie with the hood pulled up over her features – a leftover from one of her parents, it is actually rather too large for her, so the sleeves tend to flap around a lot. Underneath all those clothes, her body has more than a few prominent scars – mementos from her parents´ death and the chaining of the Nine-tailed Fox, though she has no way of knowing.
			If she had posture, sense of grooming and/or self-confidence, she might have it in her to look cute; as-is, though, she wouldn´t be someone that the guys looked at twice even if she didn´t drag around the stigma of a creepy, otherworldly aura.
			Her white hair tends to get in her face a lot, and her eyes are golden in color – the tiniest hint of what is chained inside.
			(Note: I kinda imagine her to look a little bit like Toph from Avatar:TLA, only with longer, white hair and scars.)
