I fear I may never rid myself of these spirits. If they do not<br />
leave they may just drive me to point of madness. I can never seem to<br />
be free of them, completely. Not any longer. I must stay away from<br />
everyone to be around anyone only makes them worse and I might seem<br />
like a mad woman to anyone who sees me.<br><br><br />
<br />
I will refuse all invitations not matter how insignificant it might<br />
seem at the time. I have all I need right here; in our flat.<br />
Visitors call on me but I will not see them. I can hear them again,<br />
the unwelcomed visitors. I ask them, yell at them to leave me be but<br />
it is met with the haunting becoming louder, even if no else can hear<br />
it.<br><br><br />

Into my room, I quietly close the door, close the curtain so I will<br />
not see the sun shining into the room, reminding me that it is still<br />
daylight or that the outside world still exists. On the bed, I lie<br />
down and try to rest but rest does not come. I look to the ceiling,<br />
the quiet torturing me in its own way. The spirits are quiet but only<br />
for a moment , then they start again but then as they drift off to<br />
more silence, I attempt to close my eyes once more.<br><br><br />
