===Character Story===

Kasya's mother was the best rider and archer of her clan. Many men attempted to woo her, but none were successful. Nevertheless, one day she became pregnant - Kasya was never told the circumstances, or her father's identity, but rumors began to spread that her mother had consorted with demons in exchange for her superlative skills. When Kasya, an albino, was born, their suspicions were confirmed in their eyes, and Kasya and her mother were cast out.

Her mother was left to raise her daughter alone, always on the fringes of society - wherever she went, people's suspicions of the "demon-spawned" child remained the same (the fact that Kasya somehow knew Acheronian despite having no opportunity to learn the language didn't help). When Kasya was twelve, she decided it was best for her to head off on her own, in order for her mother to a chance of regaining some semblance of a normal life. Her nigh-supernatural skill with a bow helped her find work for those who had sufficiently few moral qualms to accept a demonspawn.

Kasya has embraced her reputation as demonspawn as a tool of intimidation, dressing in all white, with a horned helmet and demonic-looking facemask. She is slow to trust, and if she does grow to care for anyone she is likely to leave them, rather than let them suffer by association with a demonspawn.
