Lyren is an overly flowery gnome who enjoys his work as a professional elemental binder. He helped [[Siber]] craft his ship the ''Silver Striker'' and also the numerous machines and gadgets inside it. He is good friends with him but is also a bit uneasy of Siber's involvement in the trust. He believes that Siber is more dangerous than others might assume and Siber's recent affirmation that his foolishness is just an act confirmed this.

Lyren is also the original elemental binder. He was the leader of the expedition into Xen'drik in order to find out about the drow Firebinders secret of binding elementals. He had charmed the leader of the drow in order to gain this information from them. He left soon after but is fully aware that the drow wish vengeance on him.
