<Kite> "We intend to represent those who wish to preserve Creation."

<Kite> "We stepped up."

<Theresa> "No, but he has stated the support of some of his faction Outside."

<Kite> "We are concerned that Lord Entropy is being manipulated by Shirk, so we haven't told him." 
<Theresa> "He has not been invited." 
<Random_Nerd> V: "Is he aware of this plan?" 
<DanteE> (Any chance I can get a read on the Imperator's personality/motivations?) 
<Kite> "We are making an effort to avoid him being aware of this plan." 
<Random_Nerd> (His voice is completely affectless, and he has no physical representation here.) 
<Theresa> "There is no guarantee that he does not know of it. But he has not killed or sent any of us to the Locust Court yet." 
<Random_Nerd> (So, he's not making it easy for you.) 
<Kite> "If you please, sir, we have footage of Shirk at a Council meeting which we could show you." 
<Random_Nerd> (But there's probably /some/ way. What's your plan?) 
<Theresa> (Maybe read Martyrs to see what she's thinking?) 
<Random_Nerd> V: "What would this footage show?" 
<DanteE> (That might work, I'll try to read Martyrs) 
<Kite> "This would show Lord Entropy granting Shirk diplomatic immunity, with Lord Ananda's support, and the other members of Council being very concerned." 
<Kite> (that was when we reported our findings on the effects of Shirk on creation?) 
<Random_Nerd> (She's not /easy/ to read, but there's at least stuff to look at. What level miracle are you using?) 
<Theresa> (Yep.) 
<Random_Nerd> V: "That, that I know. Do you know /why/ Ananda is supporting Entropy in this? Or why Entropy is doing it?" 
<Theresa> "We have our theories. We are unsure whether Entropy is now actively betraying Creation or not, however."

<Theresa> "One theory that Ananda is supporting Entropy in this is because the Age is ending and this is to be part of Ananda's rise to his Age." 
<Random_Nerd> (So, as a mundane action?)

<Random_Nerd> (In that case, you get a read on her emotions. She's nervous and on edge, like someone who's standing next to someone overinflating a balloon and waiting for it to burst.)

<DanteE> "This may be the only real way to find out what's going on.

<DanteE> "We don't know much about why the war happened or why it's continuing... 
<DanteE> "They do. This is a chance for them to tell us." 
<Theresa> "But is it to save Creation? To help our Imperator? Ftisk shows that we're not all of one mind for the 'why we want to do this'." 
<Kite> "I agree that we need more information and that this is a good opportunity for it. Knowing more about the Excrucians is useful, but coming from Ftisk it sounds....sinister." 
<DanteE> "It's to save our hides, really." 
<conradDragon> "Because is fuuun" 
<DanteE> (to Martyrs: "No offense.") 
<Theresa> "What would make sense to a Magister of the Dark? The fact that we all have our own reasons and we're going to do it our way, of our own free will?" 
<DanteE> "Here's what happens if the meeting and a few miracles happens: 
<Kite> "The information we are hoping for may help us determine whether Shirk or Lord Entropy are truly threats to Creation." 
<DanteE> "He tells us what the War is about and maybe what Shirk and Entropy are doing. 
<Random_Nerd> Martyrs: "Do /not/ try to second-guess him on this. Just give the answers, as well as you can figure them out." 
<DanteE> "We act on that knowledge and _the war ends_." 
<conradDragon> "Mine was my answer" 
<Kite> "I....don't think that's a good answer, Dante." 
<conradDragon> (was to Martyrs) 
<Theresa> (Oh, reminds we, is War coming?) 
<Kite> (He declined, I think) 
<DanteE> (War didn't want to cross Destruction, I think) 
<DanteE> "At least we'd know more about what's going on with the Valde Bellum." 
<Theresa> "I'm..not sure what is my one reason." 
<DanteE> "Does that mean we pack it in and go home?" 
<Kite> "My reason for the meeting is that I want the War to end and this has potential to be a major stepping stone. I don't expect it to lead directly to success. We'll need to find the next stone from there. But we need to take this step to proceed." 
<Theresa> "No. It just means that we as a group don't have a 'one reason'. But there doesn't have to be _one_ reason. We all have different personalities, different Codes. Why wouldn't we each have different reasons."

<DanteE> "Martyrs. Can we convince your Ymera based on 'This is a stepping stone toward the War ending'?" 
<Random_Nerd> Martyrs: "Don't try and second-guess him. Just give your best answer, don't try to predict what he'll want to hear." 
<Random_Nerd> Martyrs: "That's not how he thinks." 
<Random_Nerd> Martyrs: "What he usually goes for is a reason that the person /talking to him/ really believes in. If you really care about it, if you can get him excited about it... that can work." 
<Random_Nerd> Martyrs: "But if you cynically calculate what he'll want to hear... nope." 
* Theresa shrugs. "Then we give him all of our reasons. Dante's is the easiest to give but it's not all of ours. As to why it's a good one, all I've got is that it's better than nothing. And we've seen what Shirk is doing to other Estates." 
<DanteE> "Shirk is trashing Creation with his very presence, and Entropy seems to be helping him. 
<Random_Nerd> Martyrs: "Okay, are you ready?" 
<conradDragon> "Aye!" 
<Kite> "I believe so." 
<Theresa> "As ready as I think we can be." 
<DanteE> "Let's do it." 
<Random_Nerd> Martyrs: "Sir, they're ready to answer you." 
<Random_Nerd> Voice: "Very well. Proceed."

<Kite> "Hmm...well, I guess I should amend my statement. We perceive these actions as sane, prudent and reasonable."

<Kite> "We have other reasons beyond what we offered you, but the ones that we feel make the idea 'good' are the ones that drive us most."

<DanteE> (have faith she'll do the right thing)
