			Helmar was - is - a prodigy. Barely 16 when she came up with the concept of the Warp Drive, and only 19 when she helped build it. Now she's 21(ish) and super powered - but that hasn't changed her intellect. She's not an inventor, so much as a Physicist who's also a dab hand at Engineering. Other people are needed to take her ideas into the material world, and she can only help build.

			When she was affected by the slivers, she gained the ability to manipulate small bubbles of Space-Time. To, in effect, create small Warps. Despite her best efforts, she's not learned how - or even if - she can make the bubbles larger. Instead, she's learned how to use those bubbles to move things at a distance, either by wrapping the item entirely in a bubble, or by placing a bubble touching something, and drawing it in the wake as she moves the bubble itself.
