Varius tends to hunch in on himself and does not easily open up to others, being too used to being by himself, but is well-spoken enough if you can get past that. His eyes light up when his passion for crafting is brought to the fore, and he can be worryingly enthusiastic about making things that explode, but for the most part he is a calm, stolid individual. His items similarly share this flaw, though it is generally not difficult for Varius to work some iron into them in an appropriate fashion.
