	The ~~Hollri ( for that is what it is) failed its thrown icicle attacks.~~		The final countdown

			The Broo lord, beloved of Thed herself, circles, assailed on everyside. Pincers, poisoned tail and studded club, darting this way and that, causing pain, destruction and death….
			Heroic gods reply in kind, with Iron shod hooves, bull’s horns, fire and good old fashioned bronze: stabbing, slashing cutting and in one case head butting repeatedly.

	~~[B]Palmir[/B] gets a Shield parry [B](Tick)[/B]~~, ~~[B]Proxenus[/B] de nada~~.		With each connecting blow, blood splatters across the snow covered ground, solidifying in to powerful crystals waiting to be claimed as victor’s prizes if any live to see the end…..

			A boom, heard across the ages, scatters a handfull of darting cats as Crevice slams shut on empty air, the Broo’s legs pulling out of the way at the last moment. Dolwynn, teeth grating from the mighty crash, slices a leg off, only to be bowled over by a backswing of the beast’s mighty club.
			The same club that Urox and Waha, father and son, both dodge as they leap up on the wide scorpion back. Weapon’s slashing and mighty iron hooves kicking ….Hell bent on bringing down their cursed foe. Waha laughs as he takes a blow to the chest, the rage of battle strong on the warrior as he begins to pound his chaos foe.

	~~The creature attacks at SR 4 with its 2h spear~~.		It’s a nightmare swirl of action: ducking and weaving, slashing and punching, armour creaking under the strain of magically charged blows.

			Zorak zoran and his chaos fighting friend are hit by devilish rune magic, a loud crack and a mace explodes and Boztang fumbles, tripping over his feet to land in a heap upon the floor.

	~~Palmir at SR 5 if~~ he ~~so wishes~~.		To one side ss he goes for the kill, Palmir’s raised shield is punctured by a foot long poisoned tail spike, which pumps venom into the air, inches from the warrior's face. As the tail flicks free to face the Praxian threat behind, the Humakti sees his chance and buries his sword to the hilt in the creature’s suddenly unprotected abdomen. The blade sings with holy joy and burns white hot, as it deals a god blessed blow…

			Sweeping upwards and backwards the tail hits Urox in the chest, but fails to penetrate armour as Waha/Rothar jabs his borrowed blade deep between the creature’s scaly shoulder blades.

	~~[B]Proxenus[/B] attacks(TICK) at SR 4 but has the higher dex he gets 11% in the head with 7 points of dam....but~~.~~...the spear fails to visibly damage~~ the ~~foe!~~		It screams. Two hero blows that must settle the day’s scores…

			Simultaneously to the fore, the gods of light dance their firey dance, as a snow troll is cut in two by one giant pincer, the other snipping the top third of Yelmalio’s already battered shield clean off. Proxenus retalilates with his aluminium claw jabbing between armoured plates, but before he can follow up he is overcome by a wave of despair and can see nothing but a future of defeat… Enraged King Eft just roars and dematerializes, joining the struggling Lion spirit as it tears at the Lord of Thed’s chaos cursed soul.

	~~A simultaneous attack by~~ the ~~hollri targets Proxenus~~, ~~who [URL="http://invisiblecastle~~.~~com/roller/view/2972166/"]fumbles[/URL]!~~ and ~~looses his shield to~~ a ~~[URL="http://invisiblecastle~~.~~com/roller/view/2972169/"]broken strap[/URL]~~.		Beyond this whirl of battle, the undine hits the Gorpgod, swamping the foul chaos jelly, just as Inora’s magic charged snowflake lands…. The very air is frozen and a perfect semi sphere of ice is left. Gorpgod and Jarenst frozen still………….

			The beast must know that it has taken mortal blows for it’s allied spirit sends out a flurry of magic once again. Waha/Rothar stops still and looks about, befuddled by the confusion of where he is. As he looks towards the strange Bullheaded god standing next to him, kicking an even stranger beast in the head, he gets smaked by the Broo scorpion’s tail and goes flying across the cave.

	~~The~~ blow ~~does [URL="http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/2972163/"]12 pts of damage~~ to ~~Proxenus' left leg[/URL]. Down he goes...~~.		Beneath all this ,Dolwynn ,reeling from the blow to his head can only look on in horror as the now dying chaos beast sinks to it’s knees and begins to topple over.

			Crevice slithers through the snow and lies in wait…..

	Underfoot, bones crunch and by the light of Orendal's lantern the three posse members see that the floor is littered with broken weapons and bits of humanoid armour. There is the occasional glint of silver through the mist, but there is no time to examine the hidden treasures...

	~~At the far end of the cavern they find Gort waiting at the opening to a tunnel.~~

	~~Astis growls, totally hidden by the mist~~

	~~Its warm, uncomfortably so..~~..		Jarenst arrives with spirit in turtle and other two in hand. dives in to help round 4 20 vs 8
			binds it on round 8
	~~The men run, the lantern shakes and~~ it is only Astis' quick warning that prevents the hunters running straight into the two large Rock lizards that are blocking their way, tails thrashing, tongues a blur within their nastily fanged mouths....

	The ~~posse edges~~ into the ~~tunnel~~, ~~lead by~~ the ~~striding Proxenus~~, ~~Turtle under one arm, for once the epitome of the fearless Yelmalion warrior. Helios hoots his mirth...~~.		The hunter's of the queen edge their way into the mist filled cavern, avoiding the struggling groups of fighting creatures, locked in their endless stife.

	~~They pass~~ the ~~newtling bachelors , who line~~ the ~~walls, tridents held high in salute~~.~~Each mumours a prayer~~ of ~~luck and charms begin~~ to ~~activate one by one as protective songs are croaked~~.		Underfoot, bones crunch and by the light of Orendal's lantern the three posse members see that the floor is littered with broken weapons and bits of humanoid armour. There is the occasional glint of silver through the mist, but there is no time to examine the hidden treasures...

	~~Webbed hands shake you all gently awake.~~...		The posse edges into the tunnel, passing the newtling bachelors as they line the walls. The way turns quickly from gold to grey and warm mist begins to hug the mens ankles as they walk. unseen bones crunch underfoot, causing the occassional stumble and wince of pain.

	The ~~firestones are once again bright~~ and the ~~newtlings are bustling around~~ the ~~cave~~. ~~There's food and drink at hand~~ and the ~~mules are being fed by Belkar~~ and ~~a much subdued Orkal~~.		The lead three, Jarenst, Prox, and palmir suddenly find them selves at the tunnels opening, the lanterns held behind, illuminating a large cavern, warm, fetid, wet air with clouds of mist hiding both floor and ceiling. The firestones are once again bright and the newtlings are bustling around the cave. There's food and drink at hand and the mules are being fed by Belkar and a much subdued Orkal.
