When one looks at an individual character's page it's just a list of stats: no explanation of what it's about, where it's from, even what system it's in. Bear in mind that a reader can reach one of those pages from a normal search and will therefore not have the info that's on this index page.<br />

Two tools that might help. Categories: put an instruction in each entry that makes it part of a suitably named new category, then create the category page which will automatically generate an index of pages. Templates: you can have common info inserted painlessly in each page with a simpe instruction, like a little graphic and a sentence of explanation.
