New page

Thank you for ignoring my protestations and persuading me to go to New York to continue my 'experiment'. I am no longer carrying the birthright and can now objectively assess the situation.
I can say, without hyperbole, that the day I spent with you was the best day of my life. You are sweet, kind, and impossibly graceful. The Fae community was welcoming and for the first time in my life I felt truly at home.
I know it will sound really stupid, since I've only known you for a day, but I think I may be in love with you. I'd like nothing more than to go back to L.A. right now, despite the fact that it pains me to realize how clumsy and oafish you would find me.
Unfortunately, the nature of my obligations is such that I don't think I could fulfil them as part of the Fae community. I hate to sound so foolishly arrogant, but our world is in terrible danger, and I think I may be the only person able to avert the upcoming crisis... but only if I am seen to be neutral. As well, I have taken your words to heart in regards to the Fae needing to gain acceptance in the world at large, and I believe that I can implement this more successfully as an objective outsider than as one of the people... plus, I'm afraid that if I go back, I'll not have the will to leave again.
Your humble servant,
