Hello.

I figured I should let you know of an incident that took place here in Russia last night. Obediah Walters was seen in a (very mildly) compromising position with the Tsarina Ineska. The way gossip spreads, I figured I should tell you about this myself, so others don't hear about it and reach erroneous conclusions.

It should be noted that our observation of this interaction between Walters and Ineska was clearly staged. I find it highly unlikely that anything truly untoward occurred. It almost assuredly was an attempt by the Tsarina to nettle Medea.

I'm not entirely sure how things stand, so I thought I would leave it to your judgment as to how to proceed from here. You should probably tell Medea what has happened, before she hears about it elsewhere. I can't stress strongly enough my belief that this is merely a ploy from the Tsarina to create mischief. It's possible my writing this note is furthering her scheme. I'm just not sure.
