Without them, the players themselves have no vehicle to transport them into the setting, and no means to interact with it. Without characters, it could be said there is no reason for the Wisrtum, or virtually any other story of any kind, to exist without the characters to propel the story forward. In Wisrtum there are &#039;&#039;many different&#039;&#039; kind of characters: wizards gone mad, possessed by a being they&#039;ve summoned from the abyss and cannot control; miserly old bar-keeps; feeble-minded, highly paranoid hermits; hansom, and extremely lecherous princes; impoverished monks with seemingly beatific smiles all fill the cast of characters which is Wisrtum.<br /> &lt;/p&gt;<br /> &lt;/div&gt;</div>
