=== Outline ===

The tournament will be a simple double-elimination tournament. Brackets will be seeded with the highest-ranked player on each team's rank with bye games seeded in as necessary in the first round. If you lose a game, you will go to a "loser's bracket" where you can continue to participate until you lose a second game; losing a second game will eliminate your team from the tournament.

The winner will be the last team remaining in the tournament.

=== Matches ===

For the initial rounds, for purposes of speed, matches will be simply one game with winner advancing. Starting in the semi-final round in both the winner's and loser's brackets, matches will be Best of Three; players will play each other until one player or the other has won two games.

Maps will be selected randomly from the ladder 2v2 maps for any given round of games. In Best of Three matches, the losing team will pick the next map, if one is needed.

Spectators are going to be allowed and encouraged for games. As teams are eliminated, they should be welcome to spectate any remaining games they wish to spectate. Players arranging games should allow up to 5 minutes for any spectators to join before starting games, if possible.

=== Reporting ===

Following completion of games in a round, players should do two things: Report the results to the matchup/results thread for the tournament, and e-mail replays of the games to the tournament organizer. Games will be hosted and available for anyone to download once the tournament is over. Please determine who will e-mail the replays of the match prior to beginning to play.
