			At the age of 18, Kara Zor-el had everything she ever wanted: A loving family, a beautiful home, and a promising career. Then, in the span of a single day, it all crumbled. Her home planet was destroyed by some kind of catastrophe. Kara still doesn't know the cause. She just remembers being bundled into a tiny pod, by her desperate parents. The craft was only a one-person prototype. There was no room for anyone or anything else. Despite her protests, Kara found herself hurtling off into space. That was the last she ever saw of her home.

	~~Background~~, ~~description and miscellaneous information here~~.		The pod crashed on a blue and green world, that will be very familiar to the reader. Kara's life since then has been...difficult. She was stranded on alien planet. Her entire species had been wiped out. And the world's yellow sun was having insane effects on her physiology. That's a lot of weight for one person to carry. Fortunately, she wasn't alone for long. Kara has been taken in by a group of fellow misfits: Some of whom can share her grief. Thanks to them, she's avoided succumbing to total despair. She works to honour the memory of Krypton as best she can. She also pursues her dream of becoming a great scientist; Or as great a scientist as this primitive, misogynistic world will allow, anyway.
