"Late that day you arrive at a large cavern. It's on the side of the road, opening almost directly onto the road. After a thorough search of the large cavern, you're certain that it's currently uninhabited. It's large enough to easily pull a half-dozen wagons into, so offers shelter in the pass for the evening. You can get your small army in, though floor-space is tight. It'd be an excellent place for another tavern for Knuckles and Pearl to develop and/or a spot for an advanced guard station in the pass."
