She had parents once, and an older brother, but they disappeared when she was still very young; she doesn't know what happened to them. Neighbors looked after her growing up, proving that not all humans were like the Coalition.
She liked to hire out as a local guide to visiting adventurers, because she knew the area and knew how to sneak around the dead boys, and the money didn't hurt. But mostly because they were new and exciting people from faraway places she could only imagine. She has a treasured trenchcoat that was gift from one employer; it was ridculously oversized on her at the time, but she's grown into it.
