Overview

Character generation can be broken down into three steps. This is something worth spending time on - typically an hour or so in total.

  • Conceptualise the Dragon
  • Select Spheres and Attributes
  • Determine Lifepath, Lifepath Arete and record Edges.

Characterisation: Creating your Dragon Concept

In overview the process is as follows:

  • Select Breed
  • Name Your Dragon
  • Aesthetic Detailing
  • Describe Personality
  • Create History
  • Establish Character Relationships
  • Set Agenda
  • Consolidate Character

Core Framework: Select Spheres and Attributes

In overview the process is as follows:

  • Spheres: Record your Pneuma, Soma and Sophis. These are determined by your draconic Breed.
  • Attributes: Determine your Attributes.

Lifepath, Lifepath Arete and Edges

In overview the process is as follows:

  • Primary Lifepath: Select your first Lifepath.
  • Apply Experience: If you are creating experienced dragons, you may need to apply Experience.
  • Determine Arete: Determine your Arete score in each Lifepath.
  • Determine Edges: Record the Edges that your Lifepath has given you.
