A new promotion barely a year old, Battle Club X has quickly become the second largest professional wrestling company in the world, although nowhere near the behemoth that is Wide World Wrestling.

The roots for the company began after Austin Norvell accepted the challenge of wrestling pundit Ryan Seltzer to stage a show in a 10,000 seat arena. Norvell worked closely with fellow members of the A-List and sold out a show in Atlanta which featured wrestlers from at least five different wrestling promotions.

Shortly after, Norvel and the other A-List wrestlers were contacted by Gil Pierce, son of legendary billionaire basketball player/owner J.C. Pierce. Pierce proposed forming their own company, Battle Club X, to produce a weekly program called Wednesday Night Warfare. The show debuted on the Gainer Network and has done well enough to earn a four year contract extension within the first 3 months.
