DESCRIPTION

A tall woman, nearly two meters, her limbs muscular from combat and exercise, not the cut muscles of a show warrior or vid star. Her hair is purple, close cropped on the left, long on the right and her eyes are a light brown. She eschews cosmetics. She wears well-worn Hidden Soldier armor in various shades of blue, with gold trim, the mask often left down and carries a curved greatsword on her back, like a giant scimitar. Sarenrae's holy symbol is on her shoulders in the style of a unit patch. She usually sports a friendly, caring expression despite her martial attire.


BACKSTORY

Born in the squalid central decks of Absalom Station, Bela was orphaned at a young age, losing her parents in an a wrong-way driving accident that left her in a charity hospital. There, she was found by a nun from the Blades of Sarenrae, a martial order serving the goddess of good, and taken in. She was raised with a number of other orphans at a Blades monastery on Akiton, where she discovered a talent for the Connection and for swinging a huge blade. When she came of age, she left the monastery... the order was between crusades at the moment and she wanted to find her own path to serving Sarenrae. Not just with a sweeping movement or as part of a huge order, but on her own, where there might not be any of Sarenrae's light otherwise. She's served two terms with mercenary units on outer rim worlds, battling bandits and monsters mostly. Now she's back on Absalom Station, waiting to see what path will be illuminated next.
